After trying all sorts of different recipes for cheese sauce and them never being the right consistency, I was very pleased with this one:
Gently melt approx 1 tablespoon butter
add approx 1/3 pack Philadelphia
add a handful of grated cheese (I used cheddar)
Add mustard or hot pepper sauce or herbs to taste.
Add a dash of cream to thin if necessary.
Enjoy!
I poured this over pan fried fish but would be equally delicious over veg or any other dish that call for cheese sauce (would be delicious with spaghetti squash and bacon).
