I'm 50 and granny to 4 boys, the last one was born just 3 hours ago!!! Whoot! I wish I could see him but mommy lives in Canada.
I have 3 children, 2 are married, my son lives close by in Swansea, my eldest daughter in Canada, my baby girl, who will be 20 next week, lives with me.
I have bipolar disorder so take meds which can make it difficult to lose weight, I'm also hypothyroid and have high blood pressure which I also take meds for.
My main goal is to lose weight for my health, I'm at that age where everything starts to fall apart and droop I seriously need to get my weight down.
I've been around 16st for over a year, my highest ever weight. I dropped 1/2 stone from a stomach bug and it stayed off so this spurred me on to try once again to lose. I started dieting on the 27th sept.
I lost 3lb last week trying 1400cals & XLS Medical but it made me really constipated and I had to stop using it.
I had no idea what JUDDD was so I had a good nosey around the forum and liked what I read.
I've started today with a DD, right now, at 3:30pm I'm hungry lol. All I've had so far is several cups of tea. I've counted the milk, semi-skimmed as 125cals, for dinner I'm having a WW Beef & veg hotpot at 238cals, thats 363 totalcals and I'll probably have a piece of fruit.
On the JUDDD website the calculator gave me 1973/395 so I'm going to try and stick as close as possible to the DD cals, wont know about the UD till I get there and see how much of a pig out I want to go for
This diet has the potential to be good for the long term and as a lifestyle change, guess it all depends on how hard the DD's are. I'm going to be doing alternate days. I dont work right now so I guess that might make it easier for me.
Right I'm done...now to stick to it!
