So here I am ... back from hols ... a total of 21lbs over what I want to be so today I've started a stint of JUDDDing to see how that goes. I'm not putting a time on it, I'm just going to try to get on with it and see how I go. There's nothing in the diary in the immediate future so for now I'll just get on with it!!

Caloriewise I'm 'allowed' 1688 cals on up days and .. if I stick to the strictest 20% allowance, on down days 338 - but I don't think I can do that so I'll do 25% which is 422.

My list for today is at home but I'll list the food ... can't remember the exact calorie count (tho I'll list what I can remember) but I know I had 100 over which should cover the bits of turkey I ate whilst cutting it up and the few cherry toms I snacked on.

Breakie - 2 weetabix, splenda & skimmed milk 200

Lunch - Crunchy salad (bought from tescos) 40cals & small tin of pilchards in tomato sauce 200

little piece of smoked pork loin

Tea - 4ozs slow cooked turkey leg 160, 180g baked sweet potato 160(?), sprouts 60(ish)

Work - 2 bread 218, 2ozs turkey leg 80, spread 64, mayo app60, snackajacks 92, 2 satsumas 60

Breakie - either weetabix or oatsosimple with skimmed milk 200

Thats a total of 1594 if I'm remembering correctly so not quite the hundred for the 'picks' but near enough! Especially considering theres an extra meal in there because I'm up for 24 hrs.

Fingers crossed this is doable for me ... wish me luck! :) xx

 
Welcome back mrs d! Sure you can do 21lbs that's easy enough, and even better you don't have any pressure for a time scale to do it in :) xx
 
Thanks tan ... But I've flamin' well fallen at the first hurdle!! Had small pc of bread with clover, 2 handfuls of little savoury biscuity things left over from Xmas & 2 handfuls of walnuts while I was waiting for mum to get ready to go to the hosp:(
I thought I'd compensate somewhat by not having the planned breakfast when I got home - so I didn't .... I had a piece of bread with a load of Phili light on and a small pc of cheese instead ... DUR!!!!
Maybe you shouldn't start JUDDD with an up day anyway! ;) :pxx

Thanks Jan I think I have found it! So it says Normal days I need 2267 and down days 453 with 20% weight lose mode. Doesn't seem to bad. Food for thought lol! x

Sorry T I don't really understand .... Alternate is every other ...... Or do you mean am I doing down days randomly?
On the whole I'm trying to stick to alternate days but I have a problem with Tuesdays as I need Wednesdays to be up days when I'm up for 24hrs. I've read that you can do 'in between' days whereby you have more than on a down day but not as much as an up, so I'll probably do that on a Tuesday ... Have about 1000 cals or something.

I still cant use the app on my ipad but its only just occurred to me to come on via safari instead .... DUR! ive been thinking i have to wait till I'm on the laptop! Eeejit!

muller Greek style 72

work - 2 bread 180, 2ozs turkey 80, 20g spread 64, VHF salad cream 15, banana 70, pkt snackajacks 92

breakie - either weetabix or oatsosimple with skimmed milk 200

total - 1123 .... Oops not enough .... Hate having stuff for the sake of it ..... Dunno what to have .... Thinking cap on xx

well - can add a breakaway 99, a coco pops snack bar 83 and 2 aldi pork meatballs 132 to the total making it 1437. X

Edit to add - sm pc bread with clover & little shake of Parmesan and a biscuit at mums well saw off the last 230 cals.

Sounds as though you will have rid of those 21lbs in no time Jan sticking to what you're doing. Great to be doing this with no time limit too. Good for you!

I'm not sure actually. Maybe tuesdays or maybe Sundays coz it has to be after a down day. Knowing me probably both! Fridays I'm normally in bed x
 
Down day today .... Being my totally non-sensible self I am saving some cals for a couple of drinks ... But I HAVE been in bed all day so it's not as bad as it sounds.

got up to pick kids up from school - had a 0% jelly 10 cals and an oxo drink at my sons 7cals
Tea = Tesco crunchy side salad 42, tin ww tuna, sweet corn & mayo 77 ... Total 136
enough cals for 5 small voddies :) ... If I have them it'll be a total of 386.

Haha love how u save the cals for vodka! Are u not really hungry on just that?xx
 
A little but the fizzy coke helps ;) & it's not like I've been up all day :) x (app seems to be working now!) x
