Final journey to a new me with slim and save

Hi all i'm Chantel i'm 27 years old and a qualified Nursery nurse. I'm mum to two little boys Tayvion is my first born son his 5years old, after he was born on 12th feb 2007 i had him for 5 days before i had to say goodbye as he was born with a very unusal brain defect which was operated on but the operation was not sucessful he is now at rest RIP.
Safinn is my second born son he is 4years old and a right little handful but i wouldn't change him for the world.

This is my final journey as i have tryed everything else, this is the first time i have come across tfr diets. So i'm new to it, want to try really hard to stick to the plan 100% and get to my goal.

Feel free to add me as a friend. Could use lots of support and i'll also offer support too.

Day 8 weighed in this morning 3lbs lose, Very happy with that considering i had a break over the wk end. So 12lbs down since my journey started can't wait to get into the 10's so going to work hard this week stay 100% and add in some regular exercise. I hope to lose between 3-6lbs this week.

Have just placed an order which should last me 5weeks so i know there's no backing out i need to stay 100% to achieve maximum weight lose.

Off to have breakfast my first taste of the strawberry shake.

Thanks welshtigger but its actual 12lbs in 3 weeks as was on lipotrim for 2 weeks before i move to slim and save. On my first week on slim and save i lost 3lbs as out of 8 days only did 6 days 100% as had a break at the wk end.
 
Today really enjoyed the strawberry shake its yummy. For lunch had a tiny bit of chicken and omelette it was nice to have an egg. Then spit my wafers one before lunch and one after also took a multivitamin. For dinner will have my first try of the cottage pie.

Had my cottage pie and it was delicious, very yummy. Another 100% day and i'm full now just need to drink some more water.
 
Day 9 breakfast had my chocolate shake hot it was lovely i'm feeling full already. Really enjoying slim and save and am very positive i can stick at it. Feeling very good and can't wait till next weigh in.
 
It sounds like you are doing great! Keep up the good work and well done on your losses so far. Only another 2 lbs and you will have lost your first stone :D

So for lunch had the spicy spaghetti it was lovely although for some reason the spicy spaghetti is not spicy at all although the spaghetti is. When i had the spaghetti the other day it was spicy.
Just going to have my banana shake now and will be having lemon yoghurt bar really need to order somemore this is the second time i've had it and its more delicious then the first time yummy. Struggle a little bit yesterday when cooking dinner for my son it was sausages and the smell just took me and i had 2 small bites. So i wasn't completely 100% but i would say i was 90%. But what i most proud of is although i did eat 2 bites of the sausage i didn't use it as an excuse to go on a binge like i would normally when in the frame of mind well i've ruined it might as well continue and start again tomorrow. So thats what i take from my very small blips.

Day 10 Was up early as took little one to see a film at the cinema's although havn't been cinema in ages and i was carrying the popcorn for my son and i couldn't help but have a small hand full but i did stop as i didn't want to ruin the work i have done so far and i didn't want to kick myself out of ketosis. My new order came in and i have enough for 7 weeks.
Breakfast i had a hot chocolate shake. At the cinema i had half of my chocolate wafer and then had the other half after lunch. For lunch i had mushroom pasta also a pinch of the yummy fish my mum cooked. Just had dinner and i had an omellette it was yummy. Have had a good day.

I can say i have struggled today with staying on plan but manage to stay on plan 90% as i only had a small blip which was the popcorn. I have mainly struggled this evening but i didn't give in and i plan to get on the scales tomorrow morning just to give me the motivation i need to continue 100%. I know i'm not hungry it's just i'm letting my mind run away with itself and need to find some more activities to keep me busy. So i am going to do some exercise, drink more water and find a nice, book or magazine to read or just read through the forum.

Day 13 and onwards i am for 100% no less because i know i can do it because with having these blips i was able to use self control and stop and not continue and ruin my hard work. So thats 1 thing i can take from my blips is being proud that i didn't go further and i can see where i went wrong and correct it.

Hope everyone else is doing great. It really is an inspiration reading through others diary's and knowing that i to can reach my goals like some of you.

Day 11 Breakfast Hot chocolate shake love theses. Snack gonna try the muesli bar for the first time. Lunch Hot chocolate shake. Had one bite of the muesli bar couldn't eat it, just didn't like it. So i had half a wafer and saved the other half for after dinner. So today went out to a restaurant to treat my mum for her birthday tomorrow. So i had fish and a couple of prawns it was yummy. I had a small pinch of my mum's noodles and my sister's rice i didn't need it i just wanted to taste it and i know it wasn't enough to knock me out of ketosis. We had a really good time and it wasn't hard watching them eat plates of chinese food while i just had fish and a few prawns. I had the other half of my wafer.

Day 12 Had 2 chocolate shakes for breakfast. After that my day went downhill. Don't have any excuses just all round bad day. I've been so determined not to let this happen and here i am. I think i need to write down some goals as to why i want this, why i can stick at this journey for the long run and get where i need to be. I can and will do this just need to sort myself out and start a fresh tomorrow.

Day 13 new day,
1st goal is to get through the day on plan 100%
2nd goal to drink 3litres or more of water
3rd goal to add 40minutes of exercise

Breakfast hot chocolate shake

Feeling really positive now, i know i'm the only one that can get me where i need to be and thats whats i intend to do. Have done 30 minutes on the exercise bike and 10 minutes on the horse, this is great for thighs and tums.

Thank you Deezer. I know i can just need to stop letting my mind run away with itself. Have been reading a few diary's and i know evryone goes through these up and downs but i need to stay more focused. I think the reason i'm finding it hard is that it's half term and my little boys got another week until his back to school so have been up and about cinemas x2, restaurant for mum's birthday, his had a few meals out after having being out for the day. I'm just not making the best choices. But i'm ready and reading through your diary's and others i can see the sucesses you have a achieved that's what i want and only I CAN DO IT!. Starting a fresh Day 13. I need to start posting abit more also, so thanks for taking the time to post.

This forum is amazing..... You can lose hours lol....

I found getting really involved helped me at the start to stay focussed!!!

Hi Chantel , I wish I'd read your diary before I replied to your post on arm exercises.

I am so sorry about the tragic loss of your baby boy. I couldn't begin to imagine how hard that was. Yet, you look lovely and happy in your photo. You must be a very strong woman.

How are you finding the diet?

Hi Galorious the little man in the pic is my second son Safinn his very much allive and kicking. The Son i lost is Tayvion my first born i only had him for 5 days after birth before we had to say goodbye to my little angel.

Well i've never done a total food replacement diet before. I tried lipotrim but only manage two weeks and cheated as found it hard only to have 3 shakes a day. If i hadn't joined minimins i would have never of found out about slim and save. I so wish i found it first. I love it, i find it easy to stick to its just i need to be more determined so as of today i'm back on board 100%. I'm setting my self goals and posting alot more. I have always wrote my blips, cheats, and breaks down so that i can be held accountable, and so i can see why and where i'm going wrong. Goal for this week is to remain 100% i know i can achieve it.
