Porrige biscuits ??!!

Saw somewhere someone made some out of there porridge can anyone point me in the right direction of how to make them I can't find the post anywhere thought they would be lovely of an evening :) thanks in advance !!
 
Add water a bit at a time to form "dough". You can add cinnamon and crushed tablet sweeteners to taste. Sprinkle some cinnamon onto a microwaveable saucer. Spoon dough onto the saucer. Sprinkle a little bit more cinnamon onto the dough. Flatten the dough (I use my palm). Microwave for about 40seconds (my microwave is 800w). Pop into the fridge to cool down while you make a nice hot cuppa.

Someone else makes them in the oven - never tried that though. Far too much like hard work :)

I first made mine in the oven and really loved them! I also tried them in the microwave but I did not like the way they turned out. It does take longer in the oven but I don't make them often anyway.

I think they were discussed on the 'What do the meals look like?...' sticky thread at about page 14 or 15. When I first made them I followed lyndzi76 instructions

I haven't made any lately as I have gone off the porridge now and the 'biscuits' too. Mind you mine didn't come out like real biscuits. There's no crunch but still I liked them hehe
 
I'm going to have a bash tomorrow night my stuff comes tomorrow so :)

I will eat them hot mmmmm :)
 
I gave it a bash. I only had one biscuit from it. I say biscuit but my hubby said it was more like a flapjack and so it was. I put sweetener tabs in the water I used to make the dough and sweetened it that way. It was rather nice for something different.

Yes it was ok, not as good as it could be. I used 3 sweetener in water but ended up only using a fraction of the water so it wasn't quite sweet enough. Next time I am going to put 3 sweetener tabs in less water. It was the sweet porridge that I used but I don't think the sweet porridge is very sweet anyway. I let hubby try a bit (tiny bit mind you lol) and he seemed to think it was ok but definitely needed sweetening up. The cinnamon was nice over it too.

I really like the oatmeal porridge cookie! Lovely with a brew in the morning :-D I don't add sweetner because I found it to be to sweet but I do add cinnamon.
 
Made biscuit with the oatmeal this morning and took it to work for my breakfast. It was nice but def couldn't eat it without a cup of tea. I'm not good at breakfast so this is ideal.
 
lol bwahaha I'm gonna try one in the oven, in my ramekin..probably gonna toosh it up..lol

Iv got myn ready to go in after my fish :)

They look ok before hoping for a good result also cooking them in the oven x

I always have a pint of water :) with everything even my shakes it's like a side order lol
