Amazing profiteroles!!

Can I be nosey and ask how you lost your 5 stones? Was it with SW or something else?

Of course you can ask, silly sausage!!!

I was pregnant with my daughter (now 4) and went from 9 and a half stone to a colossal 16 and a half stone plus. Basically about 2 months to go I refused to even encounter a set of scales at that weight!! So no idea what I went to!! So some weight lost would have been baby plus fluid ( I had huge oedematous ankles).

I started SW many many moons ago before I married and for the main part it becomes part of your life- always eg I always weigh my Brekkie and generally will cook from my SW friendly cookbooks- however I am naughty in-between- lol

I digress- well after my years maternity leave being fat I went back to SW and I have been off and on. I went as low as 11 2 on slimfast and then at Xmas I went back to 12 and a half. I became thoroughly peed off with myself when sone newly bought clothes didn't fit in the space of a month. So my new years resolution was to go back on SW as I know it works. I have been at my goal weight twice now !!

Minimins has given me a new lease of life together with this app as I can check this regularly and find recipes and most importantly type a diary ( if I don't do this I fail) and I don't need to go to class!! This is a fabulous forum indeed.

So yes in a nutshell- SW works for me everytime when I stick to it. It is a slow process but patience is important too along with support and morale.

I hope I haven't bored you- lol

Oh bless you Jane (can I call you Jane ?).
That's so lovely to hear. I believe that all recipes are there to be adapted and all can be made healthy. If there is anything that takes your fancy let me know and I will email it to you!! I am in the process of typing them up gradually as they are made.

Moi? I can't type fast enough. I usually just post nonsense on the Sunday thread.

I like reading your 'nonsense' it was lovely on my first weigh in, to think that someone had actually sat and read all the weight losses and posted a personal message to each of us - I know Sum did the same - a great boost! :)

The Sunday thread is like that. Because we don't go to club, we have to talk to likeminded people in the thread for extra support.

if we talked about scan bran to people in the real world, they would look at us funny!
