Well I've decided to start my own food diary, I have run out of the paper ones...and as I seem to be spending more time on here and getting more support than group I thought this might keep me on track, please feel free to add any advice...I'm not easily offended!!
This is my third attempt at SW, I know it works, I have lost the six stone I needed too.....unfortunatly in three lot's of two stone losses....followed by six months to put the two stone back on!!!If I'd of stuck to it I'd of been at target last year....for my 40th Birthday gggrrrr!!!
I have been slowly gaining weight since I was 18 and gave up dancing to get married and start my family (very silly thing to do, but it made perfect sense to the 18yr old version of me!!) Over the years alongside three lovely children (Joshua 23, Romi 21 and India 18) I have also gained six stone!!! I also have a lovely three year old grandaughter (Faye, I know Gran at 38!! Should of had Joshua's bit's laminated when puberty struck!!! But boys will be boys...and she is fabulous even if Gran says so!! I joke when people complain about losing baby weight....I missed that and went straight for losing the Granny weight!!)
I seem to have got my head around this being a long term committment this time, took me twenty years to gain, got to be at least a year to loose aye!
I love my life, have a job I love, a very supportive partner who I still fancy and fancies me back, and great kids who are becoming great adults, I don't need to lose weight to improve all of that....but losing weight might mean I get to live it a lot longer and a lot healther than I could do if I don't over come my food issues!!
So I have had a naughty weekend, daughters 21st..lot's of wine and vodka (social life is my downfall...particularly a snifter or five!!) and am trying to rein it in for weigh in on Wed.
EE day
Breakfast: Slice of ham grabbed from the fridge, a plum and a swig of tea.
Snack: Banana and a mandarin.
Lunch: Large mixed salad with a tin of mackerel in tomato sauce (stunk out my office!!)
Mullerlight.
Dinner: Planning on Gammon Steak with mixed roast veg, corgette, pepper's, onion, mushrooms and carrotts....maybe just a few spuds but trying to be good!!
Had several green tea's today, saving milk for tea/coffee this evening.
That looks very good!! I'm not always that good...you wait and see!!!:flirt2:
Big love Clare xxxx
