Stephie's Food Diary - life of a student!!

So I started Slimming World again last week (Tues 25th) for the second time this year and I keep having days where I am struggling so I thought if I do a food diary, my wrongs and rights are pointed out and I will have some motivation from my fellow dieters so here goes! :)

Yesterday 30th September 2012

Extra Easy

HEa - 250ml semi-skimmed milk
HEb - nothing!

Breakfast -
Woke up late and went without breakfast, oops!

Lunch -
Tomato Mugshot

Dinner -
Chicken chunks marinaded with tikka seasoning, with 2 tbsp of masala sauce (5-6syns)
Served with boiled rice and a huge side salad.

Snacks -
Chopped strawberries, kiwi and grapes with vanilla Mullerlight poured over.
Kit-Kat (5.5 syns)

Exercise -
10 mins fast paced on the bike, 5 mins of light weights, and 10 mins rolling hills fast paced on the treadmill

Syns -
10.5 syns

Not the best day, but back on track for today (1st October) - will post entry later this evening!

Extra Easy

HeB - 2 x Weetabix

Breakfast -
2 weetabix with my HeA milk followed by grapes and kiwi

Lunch-
Jacket potato with a huge serving of salad and baked beans

Dinner -
Egg, roasted peppers and SW chip bake (absolutely delicious!!)

Snacks -
Toffee Mullerlight
Twister ice lolly (4.5 syns)

Syns -
4.5 syns

Feel much better about today than I have all week. I know that the scales won't be nice to me tomorrow though :(

Don't worry about the scales, after tomorrow will be a fresh week, fresh start.

Is the chip bake the one with red peppers and eggs? X
 
Thanks hun! I had freshers this week in university, tried my best being good with alcohol but once it's in your system you kind of let yourself go (oops) haha! Definate fresh start tomorrow!

Yeah it is, it was stunning! I chucked in some extra yellow peppers aswell! x

Well we all make mistakes, I wouldn't beat myself up over it :) I wanted to make that ages ago but kept forgetting!! I will make it one day lol x

2 x Weetabix

Breakfast -
2 Weetabix with some of my milk allowance followed by a handful of grapes

Lunch -
Pasta with pieces of lean bacon covered with a homemade pasta sauce (made with passata, sweetener, celery, carrots, red pepper, onion, garlic)

Dinner -
Chicken pieces in a pitta
(9 syns) with huge side salad.

Snacks -
Kiwi, bananas, grapes, Kit-Kat
(5.5 syns)

Exercise -
10 minutes bike fast pace, 20 minutes treadmill medium pace

Syns -
14.5 syns

Had my weigh in tonight and lost
1.5 lbs which I'm shocked but pleased with! Honestly didn't expect to see a loss :D So yay!

Breakfast -
Had no time for breakfast, but I squeezed in a cup of tea!

Lunch -
Sweet chilli chicken noodle salad (with peppers, black beans, soya beans) (2 syns)

Dinner -
Steak with jacket potato and peas (added 4 syns for sauce and any oils used)

Snacks -
Kiwi, cupcake (5 syns), Twister (4.5 syns)

Exercise -
10 minutes bike fast pace, 5 minutes (1000m) on rowing machine, 20 minutes treadmill medium pace

Syns -
15.5 syns, oopsy :D

Grabbed a kiwi, and a Mullerlight (was in a rush, uni is killing me!)

Lunch -
Jacket potato and baked beans

Dinner -
Chicken Kofta curry with rice and broccoli (from Oct SW mag) YUMMY!

Snacks -
Kiwi, handful of grapes, cinema goodies (10 syns)

Syns

Off to see Taken 2 in the cinema tonight, so excited!! :D

Banana with a vanilla mullerlight and a nice strong cup of tea!!

Lunch -
Leftover dinner from last night, with tiny bit of rice

Dinner -
Chicken seasoned with garlic, fry light, and a sprinkle of coriander. Served with broccoli + cauliflower cheese (2 syns) with added peas.

Snacks -
Kit-Kat (5.5 syns)

Syns -
7.5 syns

Hello!! I am here to follow you too... I just read through your diary, well done on your unexpected loss, arent they so much nicer than when you have been good as gold and you expect, only to be disappointed?!

What was Taken 2 (or Taken As Well as I like to call it - fnar fnar!) like? I loved the first one. My boyf Mick and I are total film buffs and go once, sometimes twice a week. If you got to the end of my diary (poor thing!) you will see that I saw Looper last night - man what an amazing film, loved it. Tomorrow morning we are going to see Hope Springs - may the fight between me and 40 syn popcorn commence!!!

Hiya hun, thanks for following back! :D Taken 2 wasn't as good as the first, but it was still a good film! Wish it was a big longer but i came out smiling so they did something right! Definitely recommend it :D
 
I've had a weekend of hell. It was my boyfriend's 21st this weekend so party (plus lots of drink) Saturday and a huge family dinner yesterday! Didn't have any time to come on to do a food diary, and if i'm honest i wouldn't be able to tell you! So here's to a fresh new week!

Monday 8th October 2012

Extra Easy

HeA - 1 Dairylea triangle and used a tiny bit of my milk allowance for my tea
HeB - 2 pieces of wholemeal bread

Breakfast -
Tea and toast with dairylea triangle spread with a kiwi to follow.

Lunch -
Tuna salad

Dinner -
Chicken stir fry with diet coke chicken sauce with noodles.

Snacks -
Kiwis throughout the day,
Handful of cheese Doritos (5 syns), slice of birthday cake(not sure, but going to say 8 syns just incase!)

Exercise -
Bike, treadmill and light weights for 45 minutes

Syns -
13 syns

I've been to see this today!! I agree the first one is better but that's often the case isn't it lol I did enjoy it and loved all the scenery of istanbul, all the mosques look so pretty on it x

Nothing, so busy in uni!

Dinner -
Weigh in day, so TGI fridays and I had the Spicy Diablo Pasta with Chicken (4 syns for any oil etc used)

Snacks -
Few sweets that were being handed out in the evening at the student lock in (6 syns)

Syns -
10 syns

Weigh in tonight, and I lost 2lbs :D

Steak with jacket potato, mixed vegetables (3.5 syns for butter) and salad (4 syns for peppercorn sauce)

Snacks -
Mullerlight yoghurt, kiwi

Hey Emily! Im studying Criminology and Sociology at uni! Animal biology?! Sounds fantastic! I wanted to do forensic science, but my college didn't do biology as an alevel :( Im in my 2nd year, its not chocolate for me! Its all the nights out haha!

Breakfast -
nothing, I was in a rush for uni!

Lunch -
Tuna salad (2 syns for mayo) sandwich on wholemeal bread followed by grapes, honeydew melon, watermelon and strawberries.

Dinner -
Chunky chilli con carne, with peppers, green beans, kidney beans, carrots and onion.

Snacks -
Kit-Kat (5.5 syns), vanilla Mullerlight

Syns - 7.5 syns
