So as you can see from my signature I joined my local slimming world just over a week ago. I went for my first weigh in yesterday and was amazed at a 6.5lbs loss. I have had so many people tell me that you feel like you are eating more but you lose weight and it is so true! As I was so pleased with my first loss I thought I would start up a food diary. I am currently on the EE plan.

Week 1 Food Diary (22.08.13)

Day 1:
Free foods- egg, smoked haddock, potatoes, shape raspberry yoghurt, toffee muller light
Superfree foods- peach, plum, raspberries, mixed salad
Healthy extras - (a)butter (b) 2 x wholemeal slices
Syns - Sainsburys Egg & Cress sandwich

Day 2:
Free foods- pasta, toffee muller light
Superfree foods- 7 x cherry tomatoes, 1 x tinned tomatoes, 3 plums, 2 satsumas
Healthy extras- (a) 4 x dairylea light triangles (b) 3 x sesame seed ryvita's
Syns- 2 x meat free mexican bean burgers, Ketchup, calippo ice shots

Day 3:
Free foods- boiled rice, toffee muller light
Superfree foods- plum, apple, 2 x nectarines, mixed chopped melon
Healthy extras- (a) 4 x dairylea light triangles (b) 3 x sesame seed ryvita's
Syns- Chicken tikka masala

Day 4:
Free foods- 3 x eggs, steak, muller light, tomato & herb mugshot
Superfree foods- apple, plum, lettuce, tomatoes, onion
Healthy extras- (a) 350ml skimmed milk (b) 2 x slices of bread
Syns- brown hp sauce, garlic bread

Day 5:
Free foods- 2 x Tomato & herb mugshot, baked beans
Superfree foods- apple, 2 x nectarines
Healthy extras- None
Syns- Popcorn

Day 6:
Free foods- Jacket potato, baked beans, steak, boiled egg, muller light
Superfree foods- 2 x banana, peach, tomatoes, onion, lettuce
Healthy extras- (a) 4 x dairylea light triangles (b) 3 x sesame seed ryvita's
Syns- Chilli & coriander prawns, ice cream

Day 7:
Free foods- 2 x seafood sticks
Superfree foods- banana, apple, nectarine
Healthy extras- (a) 4 x dairylea light triangles (b) 3 x sesame seed ryvita's
Syns- Spicy tomato herb & chicken pasta, 7 x olives, Chilli & coriander prawns

After reading through any other members diaries for ideas I have decide that I will now do a post for each day rather than at the end if each week which will me keep on top of it a little easier. Below is my diary for the past week up until my weigh in day, however from today I will post it each evening :)

Week 2 Food Diary (29.08.13)

Day 1:
Free foods- jacket potato, baked beans, tomato & herb mugshot
Superfree foods- apple, nectarine, chopped onions
Healthy extras - (a) butter (b) 2 x slices of whole meal bread
Syns - marvellous creations bar, chilli and coriander prawns, egg and cress spread, dairylea light cheese slice

Day 2:
Free foods- Sweet & sour noodle mugshot, jacket potato
Superfree foods- peas, carrots, plums, apple, nectarine
Healthy extras - (a) 4 x dairylea light triangles (b) 3 x sesame ryviya's
Syns - sesame ryvita

Day 3:
Free foods- 2 x tomato & herb mugshot, scrambled egg
Superfree foods- apple, banana
Healthy extras - (a) (b) 2 x slices of bread
Syns - chilli & coriander prawns, 2 x sesame ryvitas

Day 4:
Free foods- jacket potato, baked beans, chicken breast
Superfree foods- tomatoes, lettuce
Healthy extras - (a) 4 x dairylea light triangles (b) 3 x sesame ryviya's
Syns - Cajun spices, 5 x chicken nuggets

Day 5:
Free foods- tomato & herb mugshot, scrambled egg
Superfree foods- 2 x nectarines, apple, carrots
Healthy extras - none
Syns - 2 x Italian pizza chicken and sweetcorn slices

Day 6:
Free foods- tomato & herb mugshot
Superfree foods- orange, banana
Healthy extras - (a) 4 x dairylea light triangles (b) 3 x sesame ryvitas
Syns - 1 x sesame ryvitas, 1.5 scan brans, 2 x dairylea light triangles, hi-fi light choc & fudge bar

Approx. 15 Small raw carrots

Was all within syns allowed however, I feel that I ate quite a lot yesterday.

Was weigh in today. Only lost half a pound again so a little annoyed. Will be trying even harder this week. Really want to get my first stone off!
