Well here's the food diary I'v been talkin bout startin 4 ages!

For any1 who doesn't kno me already (or is interested! lol!) here's a brief history of me: Started doin SW from home in Oct 2008 weighin 12st n set a target of 8st10lb, got 2 just below target at 8st7lb n maintained the loss for over 4yrs until becoming pregnant wif my gorgeous son Sam who'll b 3wks old on Monday! Since startin SW I became a bit of an exercise junkie: I'v always been a horsey person n ride at least once a week but I started runnin a few times a week as well as becoming a complete pilates addict! Altho I stopped runnin durin my pregnancy I kept horse riding up until 30wks (much 2 my midwife's disgust! lol!) and kept doin pilates everyday, albeit prenatal pilates, n tried 2 walk as much as poss. Anyway as a result I didn't gain much weigh durin my pregnancy (weighed 9st3lbs after the birth) but unfortunately as me n Sam got re-admitted 2 hospital n had 2 stay in a whole other week I'v managed 2 gain a few pesky lbs eattin hospital food!

Basically I now ave 1st 2 lose 2 get back 2 my pre-pregnancy weight of 8st7lbs n I hope 2 ave lost this by xmas. That gives me 16wks which I reckon shud b very achievable n allows a wee margin 4 the odd inevitable slip-up! I also intend 2 gradually get back 2 exercising as well - I had 2 ave a C-section unfortunately so it'll b a slow start back!

I actually started back on plan on Wed n altho I'v mostly been good I already had a wee slip-up last nite n ended up wif a chippy 4 T but I'm not gona worry 2 much bout that.....:D

Anyway pls feel free 2 correct me if I'v made any mistakes syn-wise etc as I don't go 2 group so mite b outa date wif sum things - I won't b offended n wud appreciate the help! I mainly do EE but wif the odd Red n Green day thrown in 4 a change. I'm also breastfeeding so I'm allowin extra HX's 4 that.....WISH ME LUCK!

Extra Easy (BF)

Brunch: 2 x Nimble toasted*, 2 x poached eggs, 2 x thick cut smoked bacon (fat cut off), coffee*, Activia raspberry yoghurt

Snack: Banana, coffee*

Dinner: New potatoes, baked beans, syn-free sausages from local butchers n fruit salad

Snack: Hot choc* (2syns), 2 x Aplen light

* HX's: 2 x B - 2 x Nimble, 2 x Aplen light & 1 x A - skimmed milk in coffee n hot choc

I love hot chocolate, it's so comforting. Good luck with the plan.

Thanx! I love hot choc despite not really liking choc much lol! I usually ave Tesco Healthy Living, or Weight Watcher (from £land) or Options - which ever was on offer...n make it wif hot milk rather than boilin water if I'v enuf HXA left cos it's SOOOO much tastier! :)
 
Oops I didn't get a chance 2 put on yesterday's food so here's a quik summary: Sun 01/09/13 (EE): 2 x Weetabix, skimmed milk, sweetener, SW roast beef dinner (4syns for gravy), dark choc digestive biscuit (3syns), hot choc (2syns), 2 x Alpen lights. 2 x HXB n 1 x HXA with 9syns :)

Extra Easy

Breakfast: 2 x Weetabix, skimmed milk, sweetener (HXB, HXA)
Lunch: Baked potato, baked beans, chicken breast, grated HF cheese (3/4 HXA*). Strawberries, Activia raspberry yoghurt
Snack: apple, banana coffee
Dinner: New potatoes, baked beans, 3 x fish fingers (4.5syns), fruit salad
Snack: Hot choc (2syns), 2 x Alpen light (HXB)

Syns: 6.5
HX's: 2 x A & 2 x B

* rest of 2nd HXA as dashes of milk in coffee

will ave this evenin's treat/snack 2 add in later....
 
Well it was WI day after my 1st week back on plan n I'm thrilled 2 report a 7.5lb loss!!!! I realise that's quite a lot but I'm assuming that I was still carryin fluid/swellin from my pregnancy n emergency C-section when I WI last Wed so the stone I "gained" wasn't all "real gain" if that makes sense!? lol! Anyway I'm totally delighted n altho I don't expect 2 lose the rest THAT quickly I'm feelin very positive that once I can exercise properly again it'll drop off steadily enuf. So far I'v only been out walkin but hopefully I'l b able 2 re-introduce exercise ( startin wif my beloved pilates!) shortly, mayb next week!?

Lunch: carrot red lentil soup, 1 x slice nimble & 1 x Alpen light (HXB), coffee*
Snack: banana, Activia raspberry yoghurt
Dinner: SW chips, Birds Eye Harry Ramsden Cod in batter (12syns)

Syns: 12
HX's: 1 x A & 2 x B
* rest of HXA as dashes of milk in coffee

Will try 2 resist avin anything this evenin since that fish was 12syns, still not as bad as a "proper" fish supper tho! lol! I managed not 2 ave anything last nite so fingers x'd! lol!

i replied on my thread but well done again on the loss! i think you're doing brill - especially as a new mum so well done you on managing to keep up the plan...
that PLUS the fact you barely put on any weight whilst pregnant....go you! ;) x
 
Hey just wanted to say congrats on the great loss! You are doing fab, esp with the LO. At that stage with the breastfeeding/tiredness all I wanted to do was eat and eat... The extra HX are great though.

Hope Sam is doing well now.
 
Thanx folks! I'm dead chuffed wif myself at the loss even tho, as I said, I realise that a good portion of it was obviously fluid n that so I won't b expectin 2 ave any more big losses like that.

Sam's doin really well now thanx, well enuf 2 b keepin me awake at nite! lol! Here's a wee pic from this morning, he was sittin nice as u like while I was eatin my Weetabix!

I either get the Tesco Light Choices hot choc or the Weight Watchers 1 when it's in Poundland. They'r both 2syns each but then so is the Options hot choc which is nice 2, I get it if its on offer sumtimes. My tip is 2 add a splash of milk 2 it, like if u were makin a cuppa coffee, it makes it taste more like "proper" hot choc if u kno wat I mean. Sumtimes if I'v enuf HXA left or a spare 1 then I'l make it totally wif milk rather than water n then it's extra special! lol! :D I don't really ave much of a sweet tooth or eat much actual choc but I do LOVE my hot choc! :heartpump:
 
i'm amazed that you're able to eat like this with a new babba! lol.

keep doing what you're doing and you'll see that desired number on the scales in no time ;) x

I ave a confession hun - I'm not cookin most of these meals! :D TBH I spent every spare minute before Sam was born batch cookin n stockin up my freezers so I ave loads of chilli, enchiladas, lasagne, cottage pie, stew, various soups, etc. without that I kno 4 a fact I wudn't b stickin 2 plan as much as I am. I'm lookin 4ward 2 getting back 2 proper exercise 2 tho cos that'll help my loss as well. I'm just walkin at the mo altho so far tho I'v only managed 1hr every other day or so. I'l mayb try sum pilates next week if I ave time...
