Extra Easy to a leaner me!

I'm sick of diets! So I'm banning the word! :) since January I have attempted the calorie counting DIET, the intermittent fasting DIET, the LCHF DIET and the Atkins DIET which lasted 5 days and stopped abruptly after I started to physically gag at the thought of eating anymore butter, cream and eggs *gags at the thought* FLIPPING! DIETS. I've managed to lose and gain the same 9lbs about 4 times since the new year because I lose motivation and want it all the easy way. My mind set up until now was rubbish. Making excuses for myself, jumping from one diet to another, stuffing my fave with crap and expected weight loss to 'just happen!' being on a constant yoyo diet for the last 30 years without any real success and ending up just getting bigger tends to screw you up.

Sooo!. I'm starting the EE plan (not diet :D)
I'm no stranger to SW. But only really done green days on it, mostly only ever lost about 2 stone and that's because I got bored and lazy. I get complacent, find excuses then binge on crap and start moaning about the plan not working.

Anyhow...I'm the wrong side of 40 with 8 "big heavy wobbly unsightly character suffocating" stones to lose.
I've got absolutely no intention of losing all 8, but I'm aiming for 5 at least. Just to get under 17 stone would give my life a bit of its cheeky spark back.
I'm not very active thanks to various medications, my size and various medical problems but I have got a swim/gym membership which I could use even if only twice a week but I'm very self conscious and suffer from disabling anxiety so just getting out the door to walk there would be enough.
Okay. Ramblings over. Shall post my grub for Monday when I wake up.

I'm starting EE today too.. Iv never tried slimming world before but I am heading in with the same attitude as you. "THIS IS NOT A DIET"

Today's been pretty good so far I think. Didn't manage breakfast, just didn't feel like it. I'm still trying to get over my week of Atkins breakfast consisting of eggs in every form known to mankind with cream and butter thrown in. Now I've got so many bl*ody eggs in the fridge and they make me gag. Lunch was a better effort of Tuna with cucumber chunks and balsamic. Very nice and tangy. Having 6 cats I was very popular for about 15 minutes lol :D Tea was the best. Pork curry with rice, cucumber and lettuce. I think it's the best curry I've made in a long time, was very spicy. Still can't feel me gob lol. I took a picture but for the life of me can't work out how to post it on here. I can only access minimins on my iPhone so if any boffins out there know what to do let me know :) So my healthy extras where: A) 350ml skimmed milk B) 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil Super free: lettuce and cucumber. Don't know what this evening will hold syns wise since I haven't used any. I normally enjoy a few glasses of hiccup juice Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I'm considering whether to work it into plan or go without until the weekend. Hmmmm decisions!. Hubby is decorating daughters bedroom tonight so I've got the TV and the remote all to myself yaaay!.

Ahh! thank you for letting me know :) - it would've of bugged me all night not knowing lol.

This plan is so easy I keep thinking Im doing something wrong or I shouldn't be eating this and that because I won't lose weight.

Sounds like a great start, how did you make your curry?

It was gorgeous! I used my healthy extra for the extra virgin olive oil. :)

Fry onions in 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and add 1 tablespoon of garam masala, garlic granules, and red chillies and 2 tablespoons of medium curry powder. Fry with the onions and add tablespoons of water until it makes a paste. Add meat and mushrooms. Add 1 tin of tomatoes and a pint of stock. Simmer on a low light until reduced and thickened.

Hello I'm back but need lots of motivation, what's everyone's motivation that keeps them going? X

Getting bigger and bigger every year is beginning to pee me off!
I want to walk out my front door and walk down the street to the gym or go swimming without feeling peoples eyes are burning through me

We have ours usually about 6-ish depending when I can catch everyone in and make them all sit down to eat together . But I'm tending to make the food plate it up and 3 hours later the microwave is on overdrive warming it up. It's either me and a lap tray or me and the hubbs in the dining room lol

Yeah I try so hard for us all to eat together but as my little boy is so small he needs his dinner early :) so I cook his for 5, then cook again around 7:30 when little guy is in bed and bf is home x

We used to do that with the younger 2 - it seems a trillion years ago now they grow up so quick x

I've had such a strange eating day so far.

Breakfast was a packet of ham and a apple >.<

Lunch was going to be grilled sardines and cucumber and cherry tomatoes but the smell made me go heart sick so I had a bowl of tuna, cucumbers and vinegar.... :|

I'm being a weirdo today.

Tea will be slightly less weird. Paprika chicken, baby jacket potatoes and tenderheart cabbage.

Any ideas for a syn free sauce?

So goes into town to collect a parcel...decided to have a mooch around the shops resulted in carrying 3 very heavy bags back home full of crap. Now I've got 8 foot arms and stuff I don't need.

Anyway teas in the oven 'paprika chicken' a bit of a brain wave I had last night when wondering what to do with 6 chicken thighs. I removed the skin and sprinkled on paprika powder and garlic granules sprayed with fry light and added a tiny bit of water and soy sauce sloshed and squidged the meat around abit and then sprinkled a little sweetener sugar on and stuck in the fridge over night.

I'm hoping for a slightly spicy sweet bbq kind of taste. Either way it's gotta be better than boring old roast chicken. I'm doing new potatoes baked in their skins with cabbage and sprouts. Think it'll be windows open tonight :D

Looking forward to a few tipples tonight.
