As the title says I am going to New York for my 40th in September.

I have been at target a year and got my diamond award in class last night.

Ideally I would like to hover at the lower end of my target instead of the upper end so this diary is to help with that as I haven't recorded my food for months.

I mainly have green days as I don't eat meat and I only eat a little fish. I also rarely have my full hex a as I am lactose intolerant - dr diagnosed. I have other personal health issues as well and still struggle with the junk food demon !!

Today - EE

B - bowl of cherries

L - homemade creamy courgette soup - partial hex a due to lactoftee cream cheese
Wholemeal roll - hex b
Tomatoes
Pepper
Tuna
Extra light mayo 1 syn
Cucumber
Satsuma
Nectarine

S - dark chocolate 7 syns

D - 2 egg omelette with mushrooms and onions
Boiled new potatoes
Salad

S - dark chocolate wafer 7 syns
Alpen light bar 1/2 hex b

I think this week might be a write off already as I am now out tomorrow with a friend for dinner and me and my husband are out for a curry on Saturday night with our neighbours !!

I will be honest and say I probably won't go for low syn just go for what I fancy but I will log it all !
 
I also went to the gym last night for 30 mins and I did 20 mins interval training on the cross trainer then some machine weights

I don't usually do more then that due to my health and energy levels but I am aiming to go 3 times a week for 30-40 mins each time hopefully.

I have already been on Monday so my next planned session is tomorrow as I am going out tonight for dinner.

I had the salmon salad in Zizzi which had a handful of black rice if that so I will call it 1 hex b plus 6 syns

Total 16 syns but I reckon that is over estimating rather then under if I am honest.

L - homemade sweetcorn noodle soup followed by danio yoghurt 2 syns
2 plums grapes and a satsuma

S - 2 chocolate ruffles 4 syns

D - will be mushrooms tomatoes cheese hex a a and pear on a wholemeal bread roll hex b which is a Jamie Oliver recipe I am adapting for me. My husband will have crispy bacon on his and he will have a proper ciabatta.
With acti fry new potatoes and salad

Jaffa, I'm thinking about going back to a cooked breakfast...how do you manage on a banana? I struggle a little with fruit & yogurt!!

I used to use a hex for breakfast but I was running out of hexs and I do like one for supper be it a bar or toast so I started to cut back my breakfast as at one point it was 4 pieces of fruit plus yoghurt plus a bar.
Now some days I don't even need breakfast.

We sometimes have a cooked brunch at weekends.

I find once I start eating for the day I can't stop and I eat more and more as the day goes on
 
Saturdays are usually my day off if I am going off plan and today is no exception as we are going out for dinner tonight.

B - Nectarine, peach and grapes

L - leftover soup from yesterday followed by nutrigrain biscuits hex b and dark chocolate 5 syns

D - meal out at our local Indian restaurant so will probably include poppodums, onion bhaji, dhansak, rice and breads.

Last nights meal was lovely and leftovers for lunch today. I ended up having mushroom biriyani with dhansak sauce for a change

I lived in Spain for 14 yrs and we had some soft fruit trees of our own...fresh picked was lovely.
Oh so you weigh in Tuesday night, me Wednesday morning....what are you aiming for STS? I've done that for the last 3 weeks. I;d really like to drop another pound this week, will have to see if I can manage it. I've been weighing in the members for the last two weeks, not sure if I have to do it this week too.
 
Wow you lived in Spain for 14 years and came back here ?

I am hoping for 0.5lb off to get back dead on target but with two meals out plus leftovers I will be lucky with a STS.

I did the raffle last week in class as like you I help out when I can ie weigh in take the money run the shop do the raffle etc.
