Extra Easy: My weekly promise - 1 new thing

As some will know im a creature of habit ( Fruit and Fibre with a banana EVERY morning for brekkie ) lol , and sometimes I get stuck in a rut wondering what to make for meals or have for snacks. So I am now making a promise to myself:

Once a week I will try something different to eat - does anyone else find this??? Feel free to join me in my quest and fear of the unknown :D

This week it will be porridge - not tried it for years
 
Great idea ! I do change but have to admit I do tend eat simiar things for weeks at a time :) I am going to try cereal for breakfast with yogurt rather than Alpen lights :) Good luck xx
 
I tried having 2 alpen lights as my brekkie the other morning but I start work at 7 15 so by 9 30 I was starving lol. I figure the porridge will be more filling and last longer
 
my new thing this week is going to be to try to eat more fish...not great with fish but going to give it a go x
 
The last few weeks I have changed things around the first week I lost 2.5lbs then sts for 2 weeks and then 1/2lb loss :/
so this week I went bk to my old routine porridge every morning with a banana and I can see the difference on the scales at home already :) plus I'm not feeling hungry till lunchtime! I have missed my porridge lol x

I was struggling 4 weeks ago so i started writing everything down before it passes my lips - since then lost 3.5, then 2, then 0.5, 6 pounds in 3 weeks thats an average of 2lbs a week, but I need to mix things up a bit :D
 
This week's promise to myself is to chill out a bit and realise that some weigh-ins will be better than others and endeavour to take a long term view rather than expecting immediate results yesterday!!!!
 
Sounds like a good plan, sometimes I think we get really stressed out about going to WI and that makes us eat lol. Good luck for the week ahead

Its definitely working for me I hope it works well for you. I find some days i go over syns, some days under but over the week still less than 105. I want to keep it up until at least my holidays and get 1lb a week at least till then, its 10 weeks and then ill re think my target
 
In the summer all sorts of fruit and bare available

Veg available and so was really good to buy something that I hadn't tried before this post has reminded me that I have not done this for months mind choice is sparse at the moment plus I've now tried most But some I really need to cook again Will have to do the same with recipes too
 
missing my corn flakes but too stingy to syn them. not keen on any other cereals but this week i bought trial boxes of shreddies to try x
 
I love to mix it up its the only way I stick to it always after new ideas but brekkies tend to be eggs most of the time because I love em and they are so versatile
 
I love shreddies with a bit of sweetener yum.
Don't have any in at the minute, need to use up all my wheatabix so I can buy some. Boyfriend and son have honey loops in at the moment :( I used to love them, but no way am I using syns on cereal. Wouldn't be so bad if it was just son, but when boyfriend said ''well I'll just share these with him''
 
My new thing this week is to ditch the fizzy drinks and up my water intake. My new week started on Wednesday and since then I've not touched a drop of fizzy pop and have had 8-9 glasses of water each day. I'm already feeling less bloated and hoping it will help to boost my weight loss this week :)
