It took twenty minutes to prepare and twenty minutes to cook. The pastry is jus-rol 30% reduced fat, comes pre rolled out, you just take it out the box and put it on top of the cooking dish, cut off the excess pastry, use a knife and score a criss cross, put in oven for twenty minutes.
The actual filling is just diced beef (i hunted through the packets at asda to find the one with no visible fat!), mushrooms, onions, Worcestershire sauce, a bit of thyme, 200ml of stock and a table spoon of gravy granules.
The puff pastry doesnt taste any different than regular.
The magazine reckons about 5 syns, but my calculations per serving (four servings), 140 calories for the pastry, equating to 7 syns and 1/2 a syn for the gravy.
Still pretty good
