Hello, I don't want to look like a pudding anymore!

I joined slimming world for the first time on 6 May 2013 and had a really good start losing 12lbs in the first 3wks then I went to Mexico with my Mr for two fabulous weeks. When I weighed in week 6 I gained 4.5lbs which I was upset about because I tried to stick to plan and did ok for a few days but I was on my holidays and I had too much of everything.

After getting good support from my fellow minis and my meeting I've drawn a line underneath it and I'm getting back on track. I'm doing a diary to help keep me on the right path and a place for a good rant if the mood takes me.

All advice and comments are welcome so drop by if you fancy it. I weigh in on Mondays
 
Food today, breakfast = w/m toast (hex b) tipped with banana, fruit pot for snack,
lunch = jacket potato with 3 extra light laughing cow triangles and baked beans with salad,
Dinner = fish batter removed, SW chips, veggies (carrots, sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower & butternut squash) tbsp extra light Hellmann mayonnaise (1/2 syn)
Afters = fruit salad and muller light yogurt, pack of two Oreo cookies yum!

Well back to work today after my jollies I'm on a 12-9 shift so that means lunch and dinner will be eaten at work out of Tupperware. Felt bloated this morning so I've reduced my carb in take today as probably had too much yesterday. Breakfast = fruit pot and vanilla activia yogurt 0% fat,
Lunch = 3 mini quiches, (hex a) ham & salad, extra light mayo 1/2 syn, snack = satsumas & banana
Dinner = chicken, veg & couscous with gravy 1syn, banana & strawberry yogurt then 1 SW hi if light rocky road (hex b)

Also back at the gym but it was so hard, really feeling the difference it makes having a break from working out !

Hello again, another day another food diary to post, have just finished my shift and after reducing my carb intake yesterday I felt loads better so I've repeated it today but will probably have cereal in the morning for a change. Today's food:-
breakfast = fruit salad & strawberry muller light yoghurt
lunch = ham & egg salad with vinegar dressing and two mini quiches (half hex a), hi if light rocky road (half hex b) & fruit
dinner = turkey breast chunks, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, butternut squash, couscous with peas & sweet corn, 1tsp gravy granules (1 syn), banana & custard muller light, banana & two Oreo cookies (5syns)
snack = choc buttons (4syns) & hi if light rocky road (half hexb)

total syns 10, exercise = 15mins gym & 45min aerobics

Well last day at work then weekend off, yay! I've been good all week but today has been hard! I've been hungry all day and not stopped eating hope this is only for today as don't want to undo what good work I've done so far but this is what I've eaten.
Breakfast = two weetabix, skimmed milk, blueberries, strawberries & grapes
Snack = two Braeburn apples & water
Lunch = ham & egg salad with vinegar, apple, satsuma & strawberry muller light yogurt, 1 mini quiche (1.25syns) 1 choc (2syns)
Snack = Activia 0% vanilla yogurt
Dinner = Cheese omelette with 25g low low grated cheese (3.5 syns), 1 mini quiche (1.25syns), baked beans & SW chips, coconut muller light yogurt,

Today, well didn't sleep to good last night but been ok today, been to wolves to see the folks and it was good to have a good catch up with family since our return from holiday. Breakfast = fruit salad, Lunch = SW breakfast using 2x w/m toast (hex b), 4 bacon medallions, cheese omelette (hex a), mushrooms and baked beans, very nice indeed then a 0% activia vanilla yogurt 3 choc buttons (2syns). Dinner big soup with breadfruit, potato, pumpkin and a dumpling. Can't work out the syns for this yet so saying (8 syns)a, banana & two Oreo cookies (5syns).
Total syns 15 but its just a guess will have to work out properly, no pictures today sorry.
No exercise either boo hoo! Definitely do circuits tomorrow xx
 
Weigh in tomorrow argh! I'm a little nervous I'm hoping for a huge loss given my big gain, I'd love to lose 5lbs but its a big ask for me and besides it took 2wks to put on the weight so its reasonable it should take 2weeks to come off shouldn't it? We'll see tomorrow night.
Anyway been good today went to the gym did 1hr circuit training class's rally good but hard workout. Meals wise only planned breakfast which was cooked breakfast, 3 bacon medallions, mushrooms and tomatoes, 1 fried egg and 1 wholemeal bread (1/2 hex b) forgot to take photo but it was good then I had banana & yogurt so far 1syn for the tsp ketchup. Will pop back with lunch and dinner so tata for now

Well done on your loss so far, I don't think putting on 4.5lbs is too bad - were you away for two weeks? I bet you take that off tomorrow and more! I love Mexico, would love to visit again one day :)

Hi Cee, yes we were away for 2wks it was a super holiday. I did try to be good but slowly the temptations began to get the better of me and then I decided to sod the diet haha, we'd like to go back but stay at Cancun next time but that'll be in a few years as so many places to see. How has your week been?
 
Hello again, I've done quite a bit today but made time to cook a healthy dinner, lunch was fruit and yogurt, dinner = roast chicken breast no skin, roast sweet potato wedges, roast butternut squash, carrots, broccoli, sprouts, baby sweet corn, mangetout, roast veg medley with mushroom, peppers and courgettes, gravy 1.5 syns

For my pudding, I've got a SW hi fi light rocky road 1/2 hex b, coconut muller light yogurt and two Oreo cookies for 5 syns, total syns for the day 9 pretty good I reckon, just hope I can lose weight at weigh in tomorrow wish me luck xxx

Hi Leshrew, thanks for the good luck I certainly need all I can get to help shift this weight. Aren't Mondays a horrid day to weigh but they suit my shift so I'll stick with it. I'm weighing in at 7.30pm so I'll let you know how I go? What time are you weighing and how has your week been?
 
Have been a busy Cookie today, been to Next home, twice today with the BF for curtains for the bedroom so we can sleep properly they are we think blackout ones but we'll see tonight. The new curtains are up and looking very good the BF re named the pegs holding up the curtain pole "Little b*%#$*d" and the rings on the pole are now known as "little f#%*ers" as they were a little hard to remove, but he was pleased as punch with a good job he did of it, phew looking forward to bed tonight now. Up and in for 7am & so having a nice bath before I eat any more food. I have to say I love Oreo's mmmmm xx

I'm doing mine in the morning, yep horrible day Mondays!
I'm thinking I'm doing ok lol just get a bit stuck for food ideas sometimes always wanting naughty things eh. I started on SW last week lost 5lb so was well happy with that not expecting much tomorrow even though have stayed on plan we will see eh

I have a husband that would do curtain rails exactly the same way its more painful listening than watching it being done lol x

Were you all inclusive? AI is a diet killer lol! Which resort were you in? First time we went we had a week in Playa Del Carmen then a week in Cancun and second time we just went to Cancun, such a lovely, lively place.
