New me for 2014!

Hi all,

I've done a few diets and while I do lose weight with them, I get bored of them and the foods.

I joined Slimming world online last night and today started my diet.

I am going to do Green Day, Red Day, Green Day, Red Day etc etc as per a friends recommendation who has done SW for some time and is still losing. My books won't be here till later in the week so for now I've printed everything out and been reading it religiously! :)

I will probably post my diary from the start of the day and update it throughout the day as I go. Any tips would be appreciated :)

Todays Weight: 13 Stone 3lb

25/01/2014 - Green
Breakfast
Wholemeal bread 60g - B Choice
1 tsp I can't believe it's not butter light - 1Syn

Lunch
Zero Noodles 100G - First time having them, they're not the nicest, hard to chew and swallow so ended up leaving most the majority of the noodles..
Sweetcorn
1/2 Oxo Stock cube
Quorn, Bacon Style Rashers

Dinner
Pasta
Spaghetti in tomato sauce
Quorn Sausages x 2 - 2 Syns
Sweetcorn

Snacks
25g Special K Cereal 4.5 Syns + 100ML Semi Skimmed milk

Healthy Extras
A Choice 150ML Semi Skimmed milk
B Choice Wholemeal bread 60g

Drinks
1 x Green Tea
1 Litre water
1 x Cup of tea with 50ml Semi Skimmed milk

Had a late breakfast at about 11am, so not had much else yet. Just got in from food shopping and bought LOADS of free foods, exciting stuff!!!

0.75 Litre water
1 x Cup of tea with 50ml 1% milk
Finished off the milk I had left from my daily healthy A.

Eeeek!! Just seen I made a boo boo, thinking that the 1% milk would work out as 350ML when it should only be 280ml. So had too much milk today! :(

Up bright and early for work! Had a sneaky look on the scales yesterday and I'd lost 2lb, checked this morning and I've gained 1lb of that back :O No more going on the silly scales till way in on Saturday I think! But I've decided I really need to aim for more fruit and veg!

Thanks Jules. To be honest I've no idea what I'm doing I'm just grabbing food, comparing to my syn,free,healthy list and hoping it works out haha. xx

How long have you been on SW? I weighed in yest and lost 2lbs, weighed in this morning and gained 1lb back. Bit worried about my first weigh in on Saturday as heard you're meant to loose quite a bit in the first week, and get the feeling I wont lose anything. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong.

Are you doing yours online? I printed off all the books as they prob won't come in the post for a few days.
 
I ordered the book from e bay hun so doing it from them and help from here :) xxx

Jules, I prob should of just ordered the book from Ebay too! Was expensive this way lol, but too late now. If you're not sure on anything give me a shout :) My books should be here this week that come from joining, but not sure what books I get exactly.

I'm working at the moment till 6pm. Finding it hard to find lunches I can grab within a few minutes :( Had Tuna, Bread, Mushrooms and Cucumber today for lunch as it's a Red day! :) How are you hun? xx

Hi Smuffin, just been reading about your food again - I was interested in your thoughts on Zero noodles, I had been wondering about trying them, maybe I won't now! You've probably saved me from a culinary disaster, thank you ;)! X
 
Mine were disgusting hun lol. I got them in Holland and Barrets. Not sure if I did mine wrong but I did them as stated on the packaging. It was kinda like eatting elastic bands.
 
My days been good thanks on track with food, which is good. I got some of them noodles from Holland and Barret but have yet to try them-they don't sound very nice!

Today is a bit backwards! I woke up late so I had my lunch for breakfast and will have some cereal later before tea to make up for it! Hope that's allowed :eek:
