Nettee's slim for summer - 13 weeks of focus

Hello

I have been with Slimming world on and off for over 4 years now. This time I have been going to group since September and lost 2 st 3 lb before my recent holiday and 1/2 stone gain in two weeks :eek:. Back on the case now and going for a good 13 weeks to the beginning of the School Summer holidays on 8th July.

The target is just over 1 lb a week to reach 9 stone 9.5 lb which I am considering to be my final target and is a stone and half a pound less than I am now. Mini targets are to get back to my 2 stone loss (4 lb to go), back to my lowest weight to date (7 lb to go), a healthy BMI (9.5 lb to go), into the 9s (10.5 lb to go) and my 2 1/2 stone award (11 lb to go).

The plan to achieve this is:

to avoid refined fructose and limit fruit to two portions a day
to stick to the Slimming world plan at least 80% of the time and to have 2 red days each week
to exercise for 20 - 30 minutes 5 days per week - 6 weeks of 10 minute solutions followed by 6 weeks of 30 day shred.
to attend group weekly and post on minimins daily
Not to give up when things don't go perfectly!

Hmmm - the sugar addiction still had me in its grip yesterday . New day today. I should really re read my sugar book!

Also had a panic sprinkler mission for the new lawn so no aerobic exercise done yet. Think I need to make myself a chart.
 
A good red day today with just 3 syns so far. Off to do my exercise chart :)

(then possibly some actual exercise???)
 
Woohoo - I have done the chart and I have done a 10 minute thigh and a 10 minute HITT workout. :character00115:
 
About 20 syns today but at least no sugar was involved. Not too bad.
 
Out for the day at my Mum and Dad's so not very much control over the food but Mum is on SW too so 90% on plan with a small amount of unmeasured gravy, stuffing, sausage and chicken skin which would probably not add up to 15 syns.

Managed a 10 minute arms workout this evening too. Better than not doing it although I really ought to do one more.
 
Feeling good today. Sneaking in an extra red day. No ice cream at the interval at the theatre this morning, the sun has been shining :)
 
Couldn't resist a weigh yesterday after supper. Big mistake as it looked like a gain even taking things into account. I then had an extra cracker and cheese in a fed up way. This morning's scales look much better. Learning again not to go for the daily weigh in.......it has not been dropping as fast as I would like this week but could end up as a good loss after my two work days.

EE today and the first official day of my 12 week exercise regime!
 
A reasonable EE day ( maybe a few too many crackers - perhaps a ban on those for tomorrow is in order)

A good Red day yesterday and a 4 lb loss today :D. This takes me back to 10st 6 lb and my 2 stone loss so my first target can be ticked off the list :bliss:

Really pleased with that although I am still wanting to get all my holiday weight off asap. I suspect it will take me 2 or three more weeks unfortunately as it is hard to follow such a good loss with another one the same. But at least I am psychologically in the right place and not too pleased with myself and likely to go off the rails just yet.

The exercise is not going well.......

Out bowling tonight so I think I should aim for an early supper as they have junk food available and I don't want to be hungry.
 
Not a bad day calorie wise but not really on plan either. I did have supper before going out but it ended up being just under half a pizza that my Son found too spicy as I was running out of time. around 400 cal and therefore 20 syns. I was already synned out to the max as I had had a weigh protein drink for 7.5 syns (new flavour to try - chocolate and orange - yum) and I had a tesco falafel and butternut squash salad for lunch which I was sure used to be free but when I looked it up was actually 6 syns worth. Not sure how many calories but it can't have been very many.

Anyway the point is that I haven't had a binge, I didn't eat anything at the bowling so I hope that all will be ok with the weight loss for the day but I certainly haven't done it the slimming world way.

Out to lunch tomorrow so will see what good choices I can make :)
 
steak, salad and jacket potato for lunch and supper yesterday. Plus a sausage roll at tea time. Not great but no binging.

Today I am on track for a good red day including butter beans in my stir fry at lunch for part of my HExB allowance.

Exercise not getting going as yet.

I have been doing some thinking about how busy I am and not getting things done and have decided to move SW group to the Thursday evening. It will be really hard moving away from the group of people that I know but it will give me back Wednesday mornings at home without any children to get things done.

It will also probably result in a gain the first week which I will just have to expect and move on from.

Not sure whether to go for it from next week or go back to say goodbye!
 
completed my red day with 9 syns. fajitas for supper with new potatoes instead of wraps - very nice too.

I have put the scales away for this week so not sure how I am doing but feeling positive.
 
Bit of a disastrous weekend that started with good intentions. My daughters birthday party with party food yesterday morning. Did fine during the party but the left overs have jumped out of the cupboard and into my mouth. Also had chinese takeaway last night and the left overs for lunch today.

Time the draw yet another line.....
 
4 days of afternoon sugar binges :-(.


Dread to think what I will weigh tomorrow. I think I have to go for thurs night weigh in so definitely a gain. (But a ready made excuse!)
 
A 5 lb gain last week at the new group. I have then had an ok week - not really on plan and a couple of sugar related incidents but still came in 2.5 lb lighter. I am finding switching groups hard. I miss the people and have also been moved Facebook groups so feel cut off from the old support network. I am also slowly getting used to Thursday night being the focus of my weight loss week. Positive things though - it is a smaller group which I think is much better. I have got lots of good things done on my two Wednesday mornings so far. My husband has been in charge of children's bed time on the Thursdays which makes a nice change.

I am feeling quite determined this week so hoping for another good loss and maybe getting my 2 stone award back (again) next week
 
Oh dear - another week off plan. Some days worse than others and a 1.5lb gain despite going to morning group.

on the bright side I have had a good day today with just 7.5 syns. Hoping I have turned a corner :)
 
The weekend has been pretty good. 13 syns today, syns in gravy and wine only yesterday. The scales are reflecting my effort I am glad to say :)
 
A good red day today :). Pork stew with synned cooking apples for supper with new potatoes and broccoli - yum
 
Two good days. EE yesterday and red today. A good week all round. Hoping for a good result tomorrow evening :)

had ad a good stir fry for lunch, red onion and Rosemary sausages with sw chips and frozen mixed veg for supper. Bbq last night - spicy chicken, prawns and pepper and onion kebabs with new potatoes.
