Hello!
I have a recipe for a really nice curry but it calls for a whole 100g block of creamed coconut, which comes in at about 34 syns
Everything else in the recipe is free on SW and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good low-syn substitute for creamed coconut please? I thought about light coconut milk (6 syns for a 165ml can) or coconut flavoured yogurt but am a bit dubious about them as I really dislike watery curry so I'd want it to retain its creaminess. Can anyone share their experiences with this please or a good way to retain the creaminess in a curry? I've not made many curries in my time so I'm not familiar with any useful tricks or tips
It doesn't need to be syn-free...just considerably less than 34
