Hi fellow vegs!
I was vegan for years before I got pregnant 4 years ago. After the pregnancy I went vegan again for a while but found it very difficult with feeding the family.
We've got hens living in our back garden now so they've been a reason to not go back to veganism (doesn't excuse the milk though...).
I figured, the hens don't lay very much through the winter, so what better time to start then now?
It'll mean having to be very inventive with meals as I'm on an extremely tight budget and also have to feed my vegetarian son and husband.
Hubby is supportive but doesn't think I can do it within the budget restrictions.
I guess my reason for posting... Someone to tell me 'you can do it!'.
