Finding light at the end of the tunnel - Miss K's weight loss diary

Hi all!

I am a returner to Minis and used to spend a lot of time here, I lost about 70lb last year (have put a lot of it back on since :( ) and couldn't have done it without having my diary to keep track of myself and have others spur me on.

This time I mean it.

I'm 25 and have been big my whole life. When I got down to 235lb I felt so... normal. I was fitting into size 16 in the skinny minnie shops, was getting a lot of attention I'd never had before and felt pretty. I had been in a bad relationship for the previous 3 years and had gotten very big and very down. I'm now with a wonderful man but the content snuggles mean I'm lazy and I have found myself piling the weight back on. I am currently 267lb. I feel fat, ugly and frumpy. I want to feel normal again!

When I lost the weight before I did a lax version of calorie counting - roughly counted cals but wasn't toooooo religious with it as I find I lose weight as long as I cut out the pasta and bread etc! I will struggle more this time though as I'm skint - haha! - so cost of meals is a factor.

so today is day 1.

Breakfast - wasn't up in time, woops!

Lunch - Supernoodles. 340 cal

Tea - 2 chicken breasts. 400 cal
garden peas. 100 cal
spicy bbq sauce. 100 cal

snacks: Asda cookie (woops, Mr always has nice food around, I must learn not to steal). 250 cal
pink lady apple. 85 cal
banana. 100 cal

That brings me to 1375 cal for today. I haven't done any exercise but hope to drag my sorry bum to the gym tomorrow - struggling to face it.

I am a daily weigher (yes I know it's bad) and will update my diary here every day. Here's to a skinny 2013...
 
Today I have already learned that I need to be more organised!! I am currently having to buy food daily cause my fridge freezer broke so I have very little in the house. Thankfully I'm getting a new one on Monday. But anyway I digress. I'm on Mefenamic and Tranexamic Acid for very heavy painful periods and I have to eat when I take them otherwise I get really sick.

I weighed in at 265.8 this morning.

Breakfast: banana 100cal

Lunch: Asda cookie 250cal (we have nothing else in the house :()

Honestly can't wait to have a fridge again, the lack of any food at all in the mornings is driving me nuts and leading me to junk in the cupboard!!

Not a wonderful start to the day but could be worse! I'm off to Holland and Barrett to look into these zero noodles - if they have them in stock I'm then heading round to Lidl to get a little pack of chicken breast and maybe some stir fry veggies for tea - I have high hopes for these noodles, I hope I like them (and that they're in stock!)
 
so yesterday:

Breakfast: banana 100cal

Lunch: cookie 250cal
sandwich 350cal

tea: zero noodles 10cal
chicken breast 200cal
sweetcorn 100cal

snacks: 4 x pink wafers 200cal
apple 85cal
half a bottle of 7 up 103cal

total for yesterday 1308cal. not too bad, didn't eat particularly healthy but still stayed under my mental limit of 1400.

today so far have had 2 large boiled eggs for breakfast - call that 200cal to be safe. not sure what's for lunch.

weighed in at just under 264lb this morning. yay!
 
Hi Miss Kitten !! Just popped in to stalk ya !! Hehe !! In a totally friendly Minimin wayyyy !!! :D

Hope to see you posting away on here as you drop the pounds !! I cal count too, and have just restarted after a helath problem blip ( old injury, medication, no exercise, my diet was DOOMED for like a month !!! Boo !!! )

You'll be kissing the 18 st somethings goodbye, in no time at all !!
