On Saturday 25th January 2014 my b/friend comes home after working away and we will have not seen each other for six months, not only am I very excited about seeing him again but it is also the evening of our engagement party.
When he left four months ago I weighed 16st stone 10 lbs... I now weigh 13st 8 lbs so I have lost just over three stone. I am currently a size 16/18 and would love to be a size 12/14 for our engagement party. I realise this would mean losing around another two stone... my goal being between 11st 10 and 11st 8.
I have decided to keep a diary for the next 8 weeks for some motivation (I have been flagging after four months of weight loss,) some accountability (I have noticed my portion sizes have crept up slightly and the odd bag of crisps has reappeared on the menu) and to keep me focused. I don't want to lose sight of my hope and dreams of being a new, sexy and slim g/f for when I meet my B/F.
I plan to eat around 1000 cals a day, generally lowish carb (I don't eat bread, rice and pasta but have the odd potato) and exercise everyday. I'm not a gym bunny but I do walk 1 - 2 hours daily and also do fifteen minutes of toning exercise every day. I actually started last week but have had an indifferent week, I don't get weighed until Monday morning, hopefully two days of being uber-focused may see a pound or two move. It's also my totm so I feel bloated and lethargic lol... who would be a woman?
