Right! Here I am. Starting a new/different journey with my weight loss and getting myself feeling bikini fabulous.
I've decided to sign up to Joe Wick's 90 day SSS plan, part of cycle 1 in the plan is 4-5 sessions a week of HIIT (High Intensity Interval training) and he recommends not doing any other exercise, lifting etc along this to start with. Therefore! I decided I would start the day after my half marathon, when I can relax a little with the running training and focus on getting myself bikini ready for the summer months.
I've received my pack, so the past week or so I've been meal planning and on Monday morning, I will need to take my measurements, weigh myself (DREADING as I've turned into a chocaholic just recently) and take my before photo's (CRINGE).
I'm hoping this means that in 5 weeks time, I'll be looking and feeling a lot better.
I've bought all my supplements and protein that Joe recommends, these aren't essential, but I figured if I'm going to do it, I want to do it properly. And I've bought a few bits that I wouldn't usually have to spread the cost out, such as coconut oil, chia seeds, low carb noodles.
Joe also recommends, prepping everything as much as you can. So this weekend, with the help of my mum, I'm going to cook and portion out the majority of my lunches and a couple of evening meals to make sure I'm fully prepared and I cannot go wrong!
