Puggso_32 - In the 11s :-D

Right to the 'point'
Greetings all, welcome to my newest -and third - diary here at minimins.

First off I best explain why the new diary.

It is simple really. From now on I will be keeping close notes of what I eat and the calories that will be taking during the course of a day. I just felt that this big change in how I go about it warranted a fresh start diary wise, as with the last one kicking in with me retuning to uni from Christmas.

I don't know, it just felt like it was needed. Hopefully those lovely people who read the old one will have this one subscribed even before they have gotten to this part...right? ;) and the hope is a few others will join also. The more the merrier I say!

Quick Background To Me

This is me

...wait sorry that was over a year ago.

This is me now:

About 3 stones lighter.

I joined this fine site when I started to take dieting much more seriously. Up until then I was trying to eat healthily and had lost about a stone and a half but wouldn't say I was exactly committed to the cause.

Since being here I have used Tesco ultra-slim shakes along with a meal a day and a couple of bits and bobs during the day as - as the ticker shows - lost 33 pounds since starting in mid-December.

I would say I am fairly average, but when people start asking me about what I do then tend to think not.

Basically I am 21, final year accountancy student and play the bagpipes in a pipe band and also play the drum kit. Do all the usual 21 year old type things.

My Present Goals

I want to get to a healthy weight before the summer is out really. Ideally would be before my 22nd birthday which is the 30th July. I have no real final set weight I want to be at yet, the ticker one being a guide so far. This will be set at some point along the line.

So apart from that there is not much else I feel I have to say. I will start using this as an actual diary as of tomorrow.

Thanks for reading,

Stephen!

Ps - any question? :p

I'm not a big cinema goer but if it is still out get along to Juno (unless your looking for something to amuse kids I guess) as it is brilliant!

Depends what age they are I guess. If quite young I guess it could be called a girlie film. But I'm 21 and think it is brilliant. Couple guys I went to see it with thought it was decent enough too.

For youngster though...no chance!

They are 11 and 12 (the 15 year old wouldn't be seen dead with his Mum- street cred, etc) not old enough to appreciate a good film, if it is about a pregnant girl :D

Both looking forward to Wall-E though, so thanks for the trailer.

They are generally easy to steal....healthy eating aisle at Tesco! Tonight was simply because we have no ready meals left :D

Well I'm going to bed, not been feeling too kosher since just before dinner time so not had anything since. I'll count today up tomorrow morning before I head up to uni...assuming I don't feel any worse :(

So far today had a shake - 215
Pack of snack-a-jack popcorn - 48

Up in uni and heading straight down to a mates house to watch the Scotland game tonight so going to jump into Tesco en route and pick up a steam meal and cook/eat it at his. Tis a plan I say!

well done puggso !!

i'm only new here  and still finding my way round , happened upon your diary ...i love reading what others are doing ....
i've been dieting since jan 10 and to date have lost 2 and a half stone , i'm not sure if you have tried these but i said i'd tell you about them....as i love them for my lunch or as a snack..

they are called dutch crispbakes and i get them in tesco ,near the ryvitas and crispbreads...
they are in a tall white round pack and are like a burger bun...and the best bit only half a weight watcher point per 1 :):):)

keep up the good work and i'm sure i'll be reading every day to see how you are getting on!

i have been keeping a diary on another forum since day 1 so i won't start another here....:)
best of luck
caroline

Cheers Caroline...and well done on your superb loss! I do know the things you are on about and I do like them. it's more just when you bite into them tiny bits seem to fly everywhere...well they do with me

And this evening:

5 crackerbread - 100
Also on the bus home went through my last pack of popcorn which was meant to be for tomorrow (3 for £1 in my Tesco the now!) so another 48.
