Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

Always best to weigh your bread as sometimes you get more.

I normally use the morrisons wholemeal savers as its a 800g loaf but usually 2 slices weigh 60g, had a 400g loaf before where 3 slices weighed 60g, but the last 400g loaf we bought 2 slices weighed 60g.


You're not a pain in the butt Deb, we all have our difficult times and it can be hard getting your head in the right place, glad to see that bridge though :)
 
have any of you ever done a red day and used potato as a HEB... I always stick with the EE healthy extra's when doing red and green normally, but today I'm practically having a red day, other then the potatoes with my tea... but if I weigh them and use butternut squash to bulk my meal out if I need to, I could have milk as well as cheese today?

I just feel slightly uncomfortable using potato as a HEX as I've never done it before

your too kind saying am not pain but every week i am trying, not trying, off it, on it etc lol need make decision and at least go a week 100% lol

If Im having a roast dinner I usually have it as a Red or EE day & have the roasties as a Hex. We buy the baby new pots & par boil them in their skin & then roats them & you get loads for a HexB......you have to leave the skins on for it to be counted as a Hex. Yes you can have milk & cheese as your HexA....thats why I love Red & Green days so much!

That's what I did, we always keep the skin on anyway as we love the taste and its better for you. I was suprised and how much I got to be honest, I wouldn't have given myself anymore then that if I had done ee, so glad I weighed and checked.


I've bought some cheap wholemeal from aldi, hoping its going to be like the savers so I can have 2 slices, but I haven't tried weighing it yet.
 
Its not looking good for WI tonight, despite having a positive outlook and very low syn meals i have still been more off plan than on. Need to sort it out!
 
I find I never eat the full quota of potatoes on a Red day as its quite a generous portion!

With the Morrisons saver bread I always have 4 slices when Im on nights & if its slightly over the 120g when Im on a Red or Green day, I just trim it up to equal the 2 x 60g. Its not the best bread in the world, but it suits my purpose as I, without fail, take egg sandwiches every night with some baby plum tomatoes, a bag of Velvet Crunch, fruit & yoghurt & of course some choccie for 4am when Im at my worst lol!

eeeekkk....your on Kim. mainly because i have been on a crisp binge today. there is as much control in me as there is in the weather lol
ok so all the rubbish i ate today will prob show later than tomorrows weigh in but i need to suck it up. i need to try.....now i want to try this for the upcoming week, do i start the exercise this week too?
has anyone made Caesar salad the sw way?

Oft TWO pounds up. Not going to dwell on it but it is killing me typing this as i can FEEL it. So new day, fresh start on my challenge from Kim!! - (kim we are typing at same time lol)
Today is a new day and all that - read some diaries last night for inspiration so i know what i need to do. 2lbs ugh greedy munter. LET THE CHALLENGE BEGIN hee hee

Wi and I'm 9.12 so happy but confused too but not complaining its just what I need to get going again
On my diary I've wrote down the plan for the week and in my head was thinking that cause its my birthday I'll probably have a gain and a really off plan week but writing it down it will actually be just 2 meals :)
I really do think I'm too quick to give up with any excuse lol x

Just put a big pan of soup on yummy and was thinking can't have bread with it cause having bread for lunch and then remembered the wee cheese scones !!! Going find the recipe and make then later, finishing a little earlier today so picking girls up from school :)
