Hi guys,
I'm new here and just wanted to check with you lot if my diary sounds ok. I am doing ok and have lost half a stone so far but think I may be eating too many snack/sweets during the day. I am more of a grazer and like to constantly eat throughout the day but don't know how healthy this is.
A typical day/week is something like this:
Breakfast: Tea with semi-skimmed milk, 2 canderel (10cals). 200g strawberries. (60cals)
Dinner: WW tomato soup (76cals), 4 ryvita crackerbreads (76 cals), 2 extralight laughing cow triangles (40cals)
Tea: Typically something such as:
Breaded chicken breast (lidl, they're lovely! 234cals), salad (74cals), sweetcorn (27 cals), 50g boiled new potatoes (36cals) & tomato ketchup (18cals) - Total: 389cals.
So total for this is about 650-700cals. And then the rest I usually spend on snacking! That was a fairly low cal tea but I usually find that my snacks make up about 400 cals for the day. Is this ok or do I need to having more calories for my main meals and less snacking?
Snacks are usually things such as: Skips (76cals), Curly wurly (115cals), Pink n whites (50cals), Sugar free jelly (15cals), Bubbles hot chocolate (40cals), Mini milks (30 cals), Milkyway bar (96cals), apple (80cals), Banana (100cals)
And sometimes I could have all these snacks on the same day and still be in my calorie allowance but that seems like too many snacks to me?
Any advice would be really appreciated
