I'm not low carbing any more either, although I did lose two stone at the beginning - but I love my bread too much so am on calorie counting and (thinking about doing) exercise.
I found what really worked for me was keeping things simple - protein and veg - and lots of leafy greens, at that - plus glugging the water.
Sounds like you are going great guns - a great week one loss! So keep it up and keep posting here - I know it seems quiet at the moment but it's probably just people being away (like me, just got back yesterday).
