Beginning, middle and eventually... maintain!

Hi :)

I would usually NEVER do this as I avoid cameras like the plague and am quite shy but I want to post some before pics and some pics of me now (half way through) so I have something to look at for if I ever doubt what I'm doing or if I have a bad day and need a boost!!

I HATE the 'before' pics with an absolute passion and will NEVER look that way again. I cannot wait to see my 'maintain pics' :) I am still struggling to see much difference in the mirror so thought If I post pics as I carry on plodding along I can add a new one every half stone or so and hopefully see a difference!

I started SW about 1 week into June. I am trying to lost 5 stone and am 1 or 2 lb off 2.5 stone down :)

Anyway, deep breath... here goes.......

Early September: - 1.5 stone (my first mini goal was to hit this by Bestival and here I am :) )

Wow what a difference!!! Congrats on your amazing loss already! Perservere, and you will get the results you want!! It's not a pipe dream, it will happen and when it does, you'll be pleasantly surprised and proud that you stuck it out!

I definitely see a huge difference even tho you don't see it :)

Something definitely clicked this time and I have never been more determined to finally try and be happy with my weight. Granted, I have a way to go yet but I still feel as motivated as I did the day I walked into group so fingers crossed, I hit my target sometime soon'ish :)

Am hoping that posting pics will help me too!
 
Well done Sam, can really tell the difference and what a good idea, I know what you mean about it being hard to see the difference yourself, and to remember what you looked like previously, particularly if like me you delete most photos when you look too fat on them, I might do the half stone posting thing myself, I'm hoping to hit that target this week (weigh in Monday morning)
 
You look fantastic! I'm wondering where the other 2.5 st is going to come from, you look so slim already! I haven't been to bestival- I'm a glasto girl- I would LOVE to be at target for next years so I can wear cool little outfits! X x

Wow, awesome Sam! A really inspiration! I'm also aiming to lose 5 stone eventually :) 11 lbs down so far & I'm determined to do it by the summer!

Sam, you are really losing at a nice steady pace, what type of foods do you eat on a daily basis, I'm losing but only about a pound a week, think I might be overdong the green days, but I am still staying below my 15 syns, usually nearer to 10?

I try to mix up what I eat, well for dinner anyway! I don't eat meat and eat a lot of fruit and veg so kind of do Success Express a few days which can help.I also do a lot of Red days, even though I don't have any meat, as I find measuring my carbs can help. I don't really trust myself with them so Red limits me, but not too much, which I like and seems to work for me :)
