Dukan Veteran
Right got to start the diary! Been on the Dukan for3 weeks and ive lost 11lbs so far which i am absolutely made up with!! My other half is amazed at the amount of cooking that's involved and not being the best in the kitchen i got to admit its been a struggle at times. Im a bit inconsistent one day it will be wonderful and then i make it again and it tastes rotten. That the most challenging thing for me, and they say practice makes perfect so that's what i need to do, ill be a match for Delia by the end of this journey.
I feel so motivated at the moment i just hope it stays that way, Dr Dukan advises that it will take until next May to lose this weight so ive gotta be in it for the long haul. I know there are going to be dips and blips but for my health and my joints i have to stay with it otherwise ill be having replacements before im 50.
I did lose 3 and half stones on lipotrim a few years ago, but developed gallstones, the drinks made the pain worse so had to knock it on the head until the stones were removed then gradually over the last 3 years the weight has crept back on, and i know that its the chocolates bread and biscuits that are controlling me rather than the other way around, 3 weeks in and im not even craving the carbs although the cream scones at the concert last night were torture as they kept putting the tray in front of me saying, would you like one?
My next goal is to get under the the next stone milestone, so that's 4 lbs away, that's what i'm focusing on. Some of my clothes are getting looser and some are fitting me better which is a good sign. I have the full range of sizes in the wardrobe so should be ok.
The next challenge will be a christening next weekend and then a wedding the weekend after not sure whats on the menu, will have to make it a PV day for sure.
