Hello everyone, my name is Claire and today is my first day on lighterlife lite. Ive been calorie counting for 7 months and managed to get down from 22stone 4lbs to 18stone. I was getting really impatient as i have so much to loose and know how fab lighterlife is as i completed total abstinance 6 years ago and lost 9 and a half stone in 6 months. However i dont have as much to loose this time so have rejoined doing lighterlife lite. Its cheaper also which is good. Anyway, just wanted to come on and say hi, hope your all well and had a great new year.

Im ok i guess, kind of in the zone now. Just getting on with it really. I do have my bad days mentally but failure is not an option so im just cracking on with it. I tend to eat the same thing most days, chicken, stuffed with garlic n herb philly, with carrot n swede mash and either broccolli or runner beans. I love it lol. What kind of meals to you have ? Could do with some ideas x
 
Hi Claire, i've switched to lite now, lost 12lbs so far and another 13lbs to go. Just need to look at some healthy, filling dinner options! My daughter who is 7 was asking why i was eating the same stuff and don't want it confusing her, so even if i can sit down and have a salad it'll be better as it's just me and her x
 
I understand that totally. Im a mother of 2 myself and dont wanna give my kids any issues so have kind of been hiding it from them, I tend to eat my meal in the evening when they are having theres. Im a chef so have a wide variety of dinners. I made the chicken curry thats in the book, for the 1st 2 days because i just wanted to play it safe/ And my lighterlife councellor keeps one of the LLL recipe packs out on the side so i nicked a fish pie recipe out of there which lasted 2 days and i just added some veg to that, another meal ive had alot is a chicken breast scored halfway through stuffed with garlic n herb philly and baked in tin foil with carrot n swede mash and a green veg portion. And ive now fallen in love with stir frys, you can buy a bag out of tescos for a pound, that contains carrot, onions, cabbage and beansprouts (there not mentioned in the book but you are allowed them) i just cook that with my protein from my allowance and have a dash of soya sauce which i checked with lighterlife you are also allowed. Thanks Claire. I haven't got the lite book as i threw it away last time i did this (when i lost the first 2 stone) and forgot to ask for one when i got weighed on saturday ha. I've just had a tin of tuna with some lettuce, pepper and cucumber as i can't remember what i'm supposed to have but going to pop in on tuesday night to get a book if i can. The chicken and philly sounds lovely and so does the carrot and swede mash. I remember doing the curry last time but i ate too much of it as it was so yummy haha. Will have to make sure i weigh everything once i know what i'm allowed as i have less than a stone to lose and its going to be slow to come off without me not sticking to it properly x
