I've had messages from 'Paypal' asking me to change my credit card as it had been declined, luckily I had donated to a charity an hour earlier so I knew there wasn't a problem and it was probably a scam. You have to be so vigilant nowadays x

Great advice, unfortunately as careful as I am I have had a call from my bank this week where someone managed to get my CC details and had a spending spree online. Thankfully something was flagged their end because I had no clue anyway it's being sorted but sound advice given here!
