2lb Challenge - 14lbs by August 22nd

The goal is to lose 14lbs by my daughters birthday on August 23rd my last weigh in being the 22nd August.

So far so good I've lost 8lbs with 4 weeks to go however I am having a bit of a wobble this week and have no confidence at all in a loss. I have been on plan 100% but I was on plan 100% last week and gained this week I've made an effort to use all my syns because someone said that they lose more when they use more syns so I'm experimenting but I just don't believe it how can you lose weight by eating more? I'm eating chocolate and crisps that I wouldn't usually eat to use up my syns it just seems backwards to be eating more to lose weight.

Not happy this week. I swear on my daughters life I have been 100% on plan and have been on cross trainer 10-15 minutes a day and I've gained 1lb. I had prepared myself for a small loss or STS because I've had two big losses but a gain is different a gain means I've made a mistake somewhere and I hand on heart don't believe I have. Pissed off this week but this is just my first test back on track.

Apparently when you start doing exercise you can retain water as your muscles heal themselves - but then the week after you'll see the drop - fingers crossed that holds true for you

I hope so but actually started working out on 4th July that's when I got my cross trainer so would be a bit of a delayed reaction if it was that lol...but I've always been awkward so who knows. Wait till Friday to find out.
 
I usually feel really excited (Christmas morning feeling) to get on the scales every Friday but this morning I just didn't feel like that no doubt from my blow last week but I was completely negative and have been all week.

However I did lose 3lbs YAY :D and it sounds so stupid but I REALLY appreciate that loss after last week.

I have no idea what last week was about I don't know whether it was a totm gain, I don't know whether my body as working like a slot machine and I'd had two wins and it wasn't guna pay out last week...I don't know but I am so happy about my loss this week because had I gained again I would probably have had a good sob.

Anyway I'm now 1lb from my 1.5st award and 1.5lbs from my new stone bracket so I'm going to aim for 1.5lbs to be safe so I don't feel disheartened again if I don't reach my predicted loss and if I lose more it's just an added bonus.

So I'm now up to 11lbs on my 2lb challenge with 3 WI's to go so feeling pretty confidant and there's a chance to exceed the 14lbs fingers crossed.

Not had a good start to my day (read my diary if you want to know why) but I have lost 1lb this week and it's star week so I am very happy with that as I usually gain on star week. I have got my 1.5 stone award but I was 0.5lb off my next stone bracket which is a bummer but next week it will happen. Still on track for 14lbs by August 23rd currently at 12lbs with 2 more weigh ins to go.

I had a rotten nights sleep up on the hour every hour, I was cold and couldn't stop peeing lol...was horrible so I gave in and got up at 4:30am so I went to the supermarket at 5am to get weighed...no one can say I'm not passionate about SW lol...anyway I have lost...5lbs!! Woohoo!! Yay!! Which means I have lost 17lbs with one weigh in to go on my 2lb challenge so I've exceeded it my 3lbs up to now. I am sooooo proud of myself. And it's 26lbs in total. I was not expecting 5lbs with me being at the back end of star week I was expecting either a small loss or STS so 5lbs is amazing. I would have been happy with 0.5lb as that would have got me into next stone bracket but sod that 5lbs WAY better I am now comfortably into the next stone bracket and only 2lb off my 2st award which isn't bad to say I only got 1.5st award last week. I would love to lose 2lb next week just so I can have the 2st award but with a huge loss this week I honestly wouldn't mind a 0.5lb loss...I am a bit curious for next weeks weigh in as I am having a syn free week so I can have a guilt free day at my daughters birthday party a week tomorrow. So as of next Friday I will not have had any syns at all so can't wait to see how that affects my weight. So so so happy today!!

Oh and my new scales are only 2lbs heavier...not the 7-9lbs I was expecting...Confusion...I do not understand scales...I think they just say what they want...I might actually be 8st lol.

Morning everyone,

I have lost 4.5lbs this week which gives me my 2st award so YAY!! Also this is the last week of my 2lb challenge I was hoping to get 14lbs by today and I got 21.5lbs so pretty happy with that. This also means I am now 1.5lb off my Club 10 so I'll be aiming for that next week but if it doesn't happen I will accept it as I have had 2 great weeks.

Really happy with my loss as my eating for the last 3 days has been erratic due to preparing for my daughters party but still on plan but I have basically been living on one meal a day and then just grazing which is always trouble in disguise but thankfully I stuck to good grazing lol.

I have also 'nearly' completed my syn free week (just today to go) then I have 135 syns to enjoy at my daughters birthday party tomorrow. Some people may not agree with carrying syns over but I can't see the harm...it will most likely be reflected in my weight next week but better this way than restricting myself and feeling guilty if I go too far.

Also had a none scale victory this week...I can't keep my wedding ring on...it keeps falling off lol.
