I have decided to join in on this 30 day squat challenge that my sister has been raving on about, have just done the first 50 (gently might I add) The challenge starts on day 1 with 50 squats, then increases each day by 5, with resting on the 4th day, then the 5th day is 70 squats, up by 5 each day, rest on the 4th and then so on and so forth. Ends on day 30 with 250 squats Obviously with being on low energy levels with the shakes I'm going to monitor how I get on and take it a lot easier than I would do normally and most definitely spread the squats out as they get higher. Hopefully I get some good results from this too, as it should tie in nicely time-wise I'm hoping it will tighten my skin around my muscles as I lose weight, I'm also going to do some crunches each day too on my sit up machine (which has lay idle for months even though it is very easy!) to try and tone up my stomach area as it has shrunk down quite a bit and I'm dreading loose skin hopefully it should combat it a little! Apart from this I have been swimming twice just doing breast stroke at a leisurely pace. I'm not going to partake in any other form of exercise, such as cardio, as I think over exerting yourself could be dangerous on this so it's a case of every little helps xxx
