Managed to do 1.5 days of fast this week and didn't eat well last night also was suppose to weigh in yesterday but couldnt get round to it so thought i weigh in today and am glad to say iv lost 3 lbs!!!!!!! Really happy with this as this is the fist time in 10 years not being on a branded diet and used my own head to control my food and eat what I want am really surprised with myself..

Hi, following on from your comment about a full fast Sofartogo, let us know how you get on....on thurs I actually felt worse when I ate at lunch time and a lot hungrier in the evening. Maybe a full fast is the way to go?
Anyone know how many calories we should aim for on non fasting days? I don't want to binge and blow it so I want to track my calories for the first couple of weeks.
I aim for between 1800 and 2000 a day. 2000 gives a deficit of just over 3000 cals a week. 3500 is better but fine if you're just below 2000 a day. Does that make sense?? X
Thanks Sofartogo. I found a site that calcualtes your BMR (basal metabolic rate - ie what you need to maintain if you were just laying in bed all day) and TDEE (total daily energy expenditure). My BMR is 1352.25 and TDEE is 1622.7 (I'm only 5ft2, and sedentary). 25% of 1600 is 400 so that's what I need to eat on a fasting day,. I'm still puzzled about how uch I should be eating on a non fasting day though.Any ideas?
