5K walk, South Costa Blanca, Spain

On Sunday (5th June) there is a 5k walk starting at Surfers Bar, Playa Flamenca beach in aid of AECC (cancer) charity (being organised by Maria of the "Pink Ladies").

You need to be there for 10 and starts at 10.30

If you want to do it, you can register either at the Surfers Bar (Playa Flamenca beach) or Maxx Gym.

Signs up on the prom at Playa Flamenca Beach if you want more info.

A great cause and a good way to get to your 10k steps on Sunday.

Registration is 5 Euros, payable at Surfers Bar or Maxx gym.

Just got back from the 5k walk in Playa Flamenca.

Its a hot sunny day. Hundreds of people took part. TKO FM were on the prom with stalls and bouncy castle.

5k was just over 6500 steps, took about an hour, and then I walked back home, just notched up 12659 steps so far today on the pedimeter.

Good to see so many people out to support AECC cancer charity.

Well done to Maria and her Pink Ladies.

Thanks for posting.I missed this thread though it would have been to far for me to go and I work on a Sunday.

I agree with you about AECC. They do fantastic things.

I think the rest of the Spanish contingent have disappeared.
