Hi everyone, sorry to be so cheeky and write this post but im really worried! I have a night out with college friends I havnt seen in years in 6-7 weeks and I really wanted to have lost some serious weight by then. Problem is...iv actually gained a stone in the past 3 weeks through depression triggered binging and i feel like I want to curl up and die!

Im considering slim and save but iv never got past a week before and my brain always tells me to stop and just live on salad (which never happens) so i dont know what to do! Im so down about it...i look and feel awful...and I really wanted to look good for this not pike the weight on as I have!

How much do you think i could lose?

Allowing for a good week one loss probably 1.5/2 stones :)

I always used to do that think i could live on salads and it never happened...if you are going to do a vlcd you need to be 100% in the right frame of mind, if you dont get your mind there you wont be able to do it...my advice would be have a look through the inspiration photos, i think on the cambridge forum they have a thread 50 reasons to lose weight..have a good read get yourself excited about it and go for it.....you could lose a stone and a half or more by then think how good you will feel...the alternative is your weight will go up more or stay the same and when it comes to your meeting you wont want to go, the weeks fly by...go for it you have nothing to lose but weight and it may make you feel better as you will have something else to focus on...good luck xx

You can have your packs plus 200g of salad a day - best of both worlds!

could loose 2 stone, I would recommend getting the Dr Beck diet soultion book, Ive been reading it and its really helped me, I struggle to get past the first week too and since reading the book, Ive managed it!
the lack of sugar will make your mood feel bad too so I would be careful, you need to create a plan to combat this when it happens.
Ive previously gone, diet, ooh few pounds off, bad day, big meal, off diet, give up. and ive finally gone past it! (I think!) the book has definitely helped me and there are others on here too talking about it.

I'd lost about 2st in 6-7 weeks and have found that generally being on this has really helped my depression (though I still have my moments). But as others have said it's much much harder if you don't have that motivation at the start. I've done S&S before and fallen off because the motivation wasn't really there. This time round I've made a motivation board with loads of different quotes and stuff on. Got a sheet stuck on the wall with my losses (pounds and inches) and created a little cravings gremlin in my head which I use every time I'm craving something. All just to get myself in the right frame of mind.
