Really? Its not silent by any means but I wouldn't consider it noisy. The beep to say its done is stupidly quiet though.

I do find mine noisy - I can't watch the TV in the kitchen when it's whirring away. Worth the noise though cos the chips are fab!

Ok. Well, I'm sending it back - it's not worth that much noise!!! Chips were ok but as I say, too noisy for my little open plan house. :sigh:
