Hey there

I am thinking about trying CD but I have over 12 stone to lose. Is it suitable for this kind of weight loss?
Also does everyone have to get their doctors permission?

Thanks

Hi.

I have almost 9 stone to lose and have just reached the halfway mark. I would say that it's perfect for loosing 12 stone. You get quick results and when you have alot to lose that's exactly what you need.

If your bmi is over 40 then you do need your doctors consent.

week one- 17 1/2 pounds week two- 4 1/2 lbs week three- no weigh in week four- 11 lbs week 5- 5 1/2 lbs week 6- 4 lbs week 7- 1 lb week 8- 10 lbs week 9- 4.5 lbs week 10- 3.5 lbs

Hi,

Am in a similar boat. I've around 8 stones to loose but would be happy with 6. I've tried every diet under the sun. Decided to try cambridge because I'm hoping for quick results to keep me motivated. Only day 2 for me today. I had to get my doctors signature because my bmi was over 40. He signed no problem tho. The signatures not to support the diet it's to confirm you don't have any underlying health problems that would contra indicate a VLCD.

Good luck if you decide to go ahead x

Hi there

When I started Cambridge I had 12 stone to lose and now I have less than 6 to goal. It can be done! I have no doubt that il reach my goal and I'm sure you will too :)

I didnt have to get a Signature not sure why and my bmi when starting was 51 it is now 37

Good luck xx

It's a great diet, especially when you have a lot of weight to lose because the quick weight loss keeps you motivated. I started 1st June with 8 1/2 stone to lose and have already lost just over 3 stone :) You'll have to get a medical form signed by your GP but this is for him/her to confirm the details you have put on the form, not for him/her to give permission for you to do the diet. If I were you I would go for it!! Once you get going you'll wish you did it long ago x
