Short answer :
Yes!

Longer answer:
Don't do it if you are still in the first two phases of the diet.
In the 3rd phase, Consolidation you are allowed a little drink once in a while.

I have had alcohol on a few occasions, instead of the usual 2lb loss each week I would lose 1lb. I do exercise though. It's best to avoid the plonk, and I have to admit I feel healthier for rarely drinking so in that respect Dukan has taught me an important lesson.
 
It does slow down loss - but if you can stick to spirits and diet mixers. Gin and slimline tonic, vodka diet coke etc. Wine, beer etc are definitely worse.

I know it's against the rules but I'm 24 and going out is quite a big part of my social life. I try and stick to those drinks and not have too many!

Also try to stick to plan with the food! Avoid the midnight kebab!!... Or my case bagel!!
