Alternate days

Morning all, if any of u r doing alternate days all the time as apossed to weekends off please can u tell me how is it working for u and how much have u lost x
 
I've been doing strict alternate days.

Ive lost going on for 10 1/2lbs in 3 1/2 weeks

I don't eat on my DD at all (black tea with sweetener, black coffee, wrigleys extra, diet coke etc)

I find that after being quite hungry on DDs I know the difference with feeling peckish and eating for the sake of it on UDs and just ignore that now.
 
I do alternate days at the moment, Ive lost 7lbs in just under 2 weeks but I have approx 500 on DD's and 2000 on Ud's. Its working well at the moment but if I find it too much at any stage I will change.

I do alternative days, have done for 4 weeks with the odd ID day thrown in, and have lost 11lbs in those 4 weeks.
 
Interesting thread, those are good losses, I personally have never done strict alternating I have always given myself the weekend off, when I started it in Jan (I lasted 4 weeks because my Dad died I stopped dieting) I lost 13 lbs in 4 weeks 7lbs the 1st week and 2lbs each week after. When I restarted in April I came straight from a vlcd so my 1st weeks loss was 2lbs not a large number since then I average 1lb a week, sometimes 3lbs , sometimes 2lbs with the occasional sts, it will be really interesting to see if your weight losses exceed those of 3 DD ers like myself. However I will never be persuaded to give up my weekends as the reason I havent had diet fatigue or wanted to jump off the wagon is because of my weekends off, this is the longest I have ever stuck to a diet without getting fed up I honestly can't see me eating any other way. So it will be interesting to see what the long term results for both plans are, keep posting your findings here as I think alternate as opposed to 3 DD s will be a question regulary asked :)
 
I am plannin on weighing myself at the end of the month it will have been 4 weeks on the diet and i am hoping for at least a 3lb loss which i think is reasonable, i have been having weekends off but if i dont see any loss or if its less than 3lbs i plan on doing alternate day fasting.
