Antibiotics...

Just been diagnosed with a water infection and have been prescribed some antibiotics... The dr started going on about me having an activia to replace the friendly bacteria this antibiotic will kill.... Im gonna b.e alright aren't I?? I really don't want to throw in the towel, I'm doing OK!

You'd be best off asking Rob, as I think alot of people on here would say not to have the yog, due to sugars etc, but Rob may be able to advise something else suitable x

You can buy probiotic supplements in capsule form which work just the same as yoghurt

Thanks guys! I'm feeling loads better already- do you know how painful it was to have to drink the water we have to drink with cystitis? Ooooouch... I'm feeling fine no tummy ache, so I'm hoping it's going to be OK... But early days yet... Will see how it goes. Good to know about the capsules though, think will get some in.
