I was hoping someone could tell me if Jackfruits are free, its absolutely delicious and in season at the moment, I know if I roast the seeds, they have syns, but does anyone know if the actual fresh fruit does? As far as I am aware only Avacado is the only fruit I've come across that isn't free...

if anyone is unsure what it is

it looks like this:

Lol, it's a shame. According to google, 100 grams is 95 calories but I guess all fruit free or not free have calories (confused lol) so I might syn it to be safe. Guess these syns are better than Crisps/Chocolate.
I'm not too sure, but I'm so jealous of your jackfruit, they are delicious, where did you pick it up from?

My parents are originally from Bangladesh, and back there a huge one for maybe 100/200 taka (=£1/£2), and over here one big one will cost around £20. It's like the British Strawberry over in Bangladesh lol. Wish you could try it, if you see a South East Asian/West Indian shop/market, you could ask them?

I have tried it & loved it I was wondering where in England you bought it as I want some NOW, lol x

Oh lol, silly me. They only come in season here in the UK for around 2/3 weeks if you're lucky. If you ever pop into London around this time, and check out markets like Whitechapel Market. ImageUploadedByMiniMins.com1373851567.079673.jpgImageUploadedByMiniMins.com1373851586.741204.jpg

It's also a tradition to give LOTS and LOTS of fruit when in season as gifts to your in laws lol. (So many traditions!) jackfruits, pineapples, mangoes, lychees, dragon fruits, guava, melon in all varieties, and probably other exotic fruit I've forgotten lol
