Claire, you may not lose a lot this month on the scales, but then again you may do, but you WILL lose lots of inches so get out that tape measure! Two things I learned......1) take a rest day once a week to allow you muscle to repair and 2) drink LOADS of water to try and lessen water retention in damaged muscle fibres - at least 3 litres a day in this hotter weather.
