Back from Italy!

Hi all, am back from a weeks' holiday in Italy. Gorgeous but hot, hot hot!!! Ate gelato everyday....:whoopass:but it was lovely!

Get weighed on Wed so will let you know how I do! I pretty much just ate what I wanted but we did a bit of walking so maybe that'll help. Got back on Sat and have been back on SW since Sunday.

i love italy! the food is GORGEOUS! i went to nice and italy last year for 2 weeks and ate gelato every day, along with lots of other naughty foods. when i came back i'd put on 1.5 lbs!!! couldn't believe it...thought it was about half a stone. i felt very bloated, but i think that was more to do with the heat and food!

where abouts in italy were you? ...and did you try the nutella and amaretto gelato?

can't wait to go back this year!

Oooh amaretto! I forgot about that! No, I tend to go for the fruit gelatos as I think they're really refreshing. My favourite was lime which I only found in one place but it was amazing. Second fave was coconut. Yum!

We went to Tuscany and stayed in a villa about 45mins from Florence in very pretty and quiet countryside!

I did weigh this morning and it said I was minus 1 from two weeks ago when I weighed myself but I'll believe it when I see it on her scales! I certainly don't feel like I've lost 1 - more like I've gained 5!

I'm sure you haven't done any major damage and remember if it came on in a week you can loose it in one, lots of water and back to what you were doing and before you know it......

that villa looks lovely - i'd love a holiday there. my holiday will consist of a sofa bed in my blokes nan's apartment in nice. she only speaks italian and french - we both speak rubbish grade gcse french (basically oui, non, bonour, chow and j'ai vousdrais)
