Hi bex

How are you?! Day one done and dusted nearly! Wow well done on the 5 stone! That's amazing! I was doing SF for 6 weeks then switched to a VLCD for 5 days was sooooooo unhappy came over to Atkins on Tuesday and have been sooooo happy since! Feel sooooo much more healthier and just unbelievably happy all the time! So much more energy! Defo sticking with this as a lifestyle not just a diet!

I've only been doing it since tues as I said so by all means I'm not an expert but just wanted to say hello *waves* and wish you luck! Will be popping into your diary to see Joe your doing

Everyone is soooooo lovely on this forum and ever so helpful! So I'm sure one of them will be along soon with a handy bit of advice :)

Hi and welcome:). Amazingly well done so farand hope you get to your goal. Just be a bit careful with the sweetners ie the atkins bar and sf jelly. Stalls many people so have as treats not regular daily snack

Good luck

Hi becci and welcome, I'll be following your diary .

Morning becci and welcome!!! You will be at goal before you know it as you've already done incredibly well! Xx

Hi Becci and welcome, well done on your weight loss so far its fantastic. Enjoy Atkins it is a great way to eat and lose weight x

Thanks for all the replies and advice guys!! Had a manic weekend so havent been on here but have stuck low carb although i did go out at the weekend but drunk white rum and diet coke and did have a chicken kebab, minus the pitta! I know thats not good on induction but its better than falling off completely!! Felt really rough the second day blury vision and headaches kind of flu like but got up the 3rd day feeling great and havent had a bad day since!! Not getting on the scales till friday, determind to keep off them and only weigh once a week with the rest of you guys! Hope your all doing well xxxx

Well im still here and still going;-) its amazing!! Still feel fine on it but never find myself feeling hungry and find it hard to fancy something to eat but i know i have to in order to keep the weight coming off! Does anyone else struggle with lack of appetite?
Any way didnt have brekkie! School run is too hectic although my kids toast smelled divine today!!
Just had corn beef salad for lunch(not eaten corn beef for years!!) and think a vegetable, cheese and bacon omelette for tea!
Struggling with my water intake too so am on a mission today to kick that up the butt!
Been browsing online low carb foods from places like carb mega store has anyone bought anything from these places?
I wouldnt buy stuff while on induction but the bread and sweets had my mind on overtime! Was dreaming of a cheese and marmite sandwich with low carb bread 1.9g of carbs per slice. Just wanted to see if anyone had tried any of these at the later stages?
Anyway hope your all doing well today and enjoying the sunshine:)xxx

omg Bex why did you mention low carb mega store . . . seen it mentioned a few times so i thought hmm lets have a look! SUGAR FREE OREOS! omg im def staying away from this whilst on induction!! im def a savoury girl but occasionally i like something sweet after dinner. going to try tonight to whip up some cream and add some sweetner and then pop in freezer for an hr and see if its ice cream like :)!

seems like your getting on well :) whens your weigh day? xxx

Hi Becci

I love some flax bread toasted with cheese and marmite but don't have it too often - lower carbs than the bought stuff and much nicer, check out the Mim sticky :)

Wot she said^

in induction i used to make a flax loaf, slice up and freeze and then have two tiny slices a day for brekkie with butter and marmite. Kept me regular and happy:D. Now i usually eat the little marmite cheddar bites that you can buy - my cheese and marmit fix all in a friendly snack pack;)

Morning Becci and Poo to the FRANKENFOODS! :) says the resident carb nazi ;)

Afternoon all! Thanks for the comments!
How did the ice cream turn out ems??
I am definately going to try the mims when i get round to buying the stuff! Seems like you either love them or hate them so i am hoping i love them!
Still going strong and dare i say that i find it pretty easy!
My only problem is i never really fancy food!(thats amazing for me haha)does anyone else struggle to get the meals in? But apart from a bit of tiredness its all good:D roll on fridays weigh in!!
Hope your all doing well guys xxxx

Hi Bex,

well lets say i couldnt wait long enough for it to freeze completely but what i did make was soo yummy!! basically its was whipped cream that was frozen all on the outside and then when you break into it the middle was still cream!
