I just read a comment about dress shopping - I know it may be a trek but "The Big Day" in Castleford in Yorkshire is amazing! Run by 2 brilliant women - you book an exclusive appointment where they close the whole shop just for you for 2 hours!
They make you feel really great - not sure what size they go upto but def a 30. Really beautiful dresses (from names you've actually heard of) not the usual "fat girl" dresses!
Def worth a visit
(my sister just ordered from there.) What a great experience!
