I have ordered the Exante meals as I feel they will be better for me than the ketogenic diet I have been following. I started a Ketogenic diet at the start of the New Year, it is high fat, medium protein and low carbohydrate. I have lost a total of 22lbs so far but it is starting to affect my health. I had my gallbladder removed a number of years ago and I am realising that I am struggling with the high fat as I do not produce enough bile to break the fats down properly. I keep getting pains in my right side after a high fat meal.

The Exante diet is also a ketogenic diet but not the high in fat variety so I should still stay in ketosis and hopefully, continue losing weight along with being pain free.

I had a baby nearly 9 months ago and will be going back to work in a couple of months so I desperately want to get quite a bit of weight off before then.

My packs should be arriving tomorrow so my plan is to start this diet on Monday and continue with what I'm doing until then, just eating less fat until I start.

I am going to try to write in this diary a minimum of once a week to keep myself on track and keep an eye on my progress.
 
Losing 22 pounds through keto since the new year is amazing.!! How much are you trying to lose? And I've been thinking of switching to a high fat low carb keto diet as I'm struggling with Exante now (constant headaches). What did u eat and how often? That's such a good loss.

I feel for u with gallbladder issues, I drink pints of mint tea and stay hydrated, it seems to help
