Can you ever drink alcohol on this diet?

I havent started this diet yet but I have just ordered the book off amazon and I am keen to start. I know there are different phazes to this diet but I was just wondering can you ever drink alcohol on it?

Nope, No alcohol. I thought it would be much harder than it is.

I see you are an LT veteran. So am I! The Dukan Diet is soooo much better than LT You'll find it easy breezy

Thanks for your reply. Yes I lost 4 stones on lipotrim but keep putting 2 stones sback on. cant shift them! Going to give this a try. Quite looking forward to it. Well done on your losses by the way. You are doing really well xx

I lost 3.5st on LT in '08 and eventually put everything back on. What I like about Dukan is you're only half finished when you lose the weight and that there are rules for the rest of your life for keeping it off Not like LT where you have 1 week of re-integration and then you have to fend for yourself.

To be honest, there is one glass of wine a week in Phase 3 Conso, once you're at target weight

Although Dr Dukan says no alcohol I have to admit that I have succumbed to vodka and diet coke on a fair few occasions (probably about 6 times in 5 months) and luckily it hasn't affected my weight loss. That said I have been religious where food in concerned so I think for a special occasion it probably won't make a huge difference! Others may disagree!!!LOL

I'd told myself I'd let myself join in on drinks when I got to 2stone off. Feel that'll never happen! Might succumb at works do if I continue to lose!
