can you make a cake with plain flour?

Can u plain flour but would need to add baking powder to act as a raising agent. What ya making? Is it a saw recipe. Could just eat piece of cake lol x

Without baking powder the cake won't rise. It will taste like a cake but be very flat I'm afraid! x

no hun but i have made it now
i used
plain flour
sugar
butter
galaxy hot choc powder
eggs

aint tasted it yet as leaving to cool but looks good

Did it taste nice, did you work out the syns in it/per slice. I used to love baking cakes, used to bake for the shop but ended up eating most of them myself lol.Now dont go near them. Although there was a taster in class this week and the most delish strawberry cake only 3.5 syns a slice,I must get the recipe next week.
