cheese scones

I saw a recipe the other day not sure if it was on here or elsewhere for cheese scones using cottage cheese and smash ,can anyone help me find the recipe ? thanks

This one was on the NetMums site...

Here is the recipe for the scones. Though they took longer than time given to go golden. Some of the girls in group said they have added cheese from HE as well to make them really cheesy.


Syn Free Cheese Scones,
Made Batch up to freeze ideal to have with homemade soups
1 pkt instant mash,
2-3 eggs,
tub of cottage cheese,
seasoning

Mix all ingredients together until pastry consistency, may need to add extra water, make in to scone shapes, spray with fry light bake 180̊c 20-25 mins till golden brown. can freeze.

one full packet Mr mash ...tub of quark 200g and needed 3 eggs ...(salt n pepper) ....didnt add any water ops 42 g cheese as well


i made them with this got about 10 scones and were nice they worked out at 1 syn if u were going to syn them as sw say u cant use smash to make them was thinking about using fruit in the plane one see what they are like

Hmm - I might try them using the fried onion flavour smash so they're cheese and onion. Maybe with some chopped up bacon in as well. Next day off is Saturday, so I'll give it a go.

Hi, I am just curious here. They sound gorgeous, but as I live abroad, (no access to a meeting..and only want to lose a large half a stone, since stopping smoking and totally relying on you all you lovely people for info) Is a packet of Smash free please? I have also heard of pizza /garlic bread using the Smash. Many thanks in advance and good luck to you all

how many eggs and measurements did you use with the tub, i have the tub too as tesco didnt have the packets, only their own version and didnt know if that was syn free too. x
