Claree__x meets Dukan

Hi all,

I've started my first day of attack today so I thought I'd come on here so you can give me some advice and tell me where I'm (inevitably!) going wrong. I used the Dukan website which suggested I do 3 days of attack before moving onto PV/PP so I'll see how it goes!

Breakfast;
Scrambled egg with 1 egg and 1 yolk and a drop of skimmed milk (I wasn't sure about this but I'm sure it said I could have it in tea (which I don't drink), is it allowed?)

Snack;
Cooked ham. It's from Tesco and it's probably not allowed. I checked the pack and it's 4.8% fat, is that too much?

Lunch;
Grilled chicken breast. Well, I say I've eat it. It's in my drawer which I'm snacking from but I can't face it at the moment, too much ham apparently - I might snack on it later!

Dinner;
I've taken out chicken breasts which I'm going to cook with herbs/chilli I think. I will have a look through your recipies though.

Drinks;
I've drank around 1L of water and have 600ml of pepsi max on the go at the moment.

I also had a spoonful or so of Onken FF Strawberry Yoghurt. Then I realised I'm not allowed it 'cause it has fruit bits in it (oops). I'm sure a spoonful won't kill me!

However, if you lot come back and tell me my ham and skimmed milk aren't allowed I think I'll be doing 4 days of attack and just write today off in general.

Hello,

I've only been doing the plan since last Wednesday myself so by no means an expert but I think you should avoid ham unless its low fat, also packaged meat tends to have extras in so should be used for emergencies only. The advice I've seen is to try & stick to fresh or frozen & cook it yourself. The milk is fine.

The yoghurt is a no no. the best i believe is total 0% if you can or supermarkets own natural fat free, you can add your own flavorings & sugar free jelly crystal to give it some flavour.

Any questions you have just post, everyone is really supportive.

Good luck for the next few days on attack, cruise is a lot easier

Hi jojo!

Thanks for letting me know! I went to tesco last night and bought in loads of meat to cook so hopefully won't have to resort to the ham anymore.

Stepped on the scales this morning, -2.5lb! I'm not going to kid on that I'll get that every day but it's a nice little motivator!

My fiancé is joining me on the diet today and he's a serial moaner so I'm not sure how long he'll last! :lol:

Wow 2.5lb is fab, so the ham & yogurt didn't do that much harm.

Well at least you have a buddy to do the plan with even if he is a moaner :eek: It'll make things a little easier if you are eating the same foods etc....

Hope you are having a good weekend !

Great start and well done for posting your menus - invaluable so that all the pros can pick up on any errors and believe me we have all made them - goooooood luck with your Dukan journey!
